You are at Yebber

Yes! You didn’t read it wrong. We had our very first experience eating flowers with Clement at Eden Café. He started Eden Café in May this year and already has many ravishing reviews about the creative and clever use of flowers in his cuisine. All these creations started from his love for nature. Clement jokingly said that the Monkey actually started the conceptualisation of Eden Café. After witnessing how the Monkey goes to the blossom of a plant for nutritious food, it triggered Clement’s curiosity to experiment the use of flowers in his cooking.

Clement created a homely and welcoming café which sets itself apart from the usual commercial cafés. He devotes his passion in making a different experience for everyone dining at Eden Café, ensuring that one will never get tired of eating “the usual dishes at the usual place.” Every visit to Eden Café is a whole new experience. With a unique lunch menu every week, this is the perfect place for lunch meetings and get-togethers with friends. Other than their à la carte menu of all-natural flavoured dishes and floral cuisines, Clement offers Made-to-Order menu for dinner.

What are the differences between flowers at Eden and any other flowers?

Other than those you see in our mini-garden, we import specially grown-for-consumption flowers weekly from countries such as Israel and Australia. These flowers are full of vitamins and minerals, and they are great alternatives for vegetarians.

Do you have any recipes to follow when you create these floral cuisines?
There’s no recipe to follow. We strip food to their bare minimum. We cook with feel and passion. Eden is formed by people, not names, and everyone works together to experiment with ingredients and fresh herbs to create new cuisines. This is one of the reasons why we can customize to every customers’ needs. We build connections with them, and we cook to suit their needs and tastes. We try our best to satisfy all their five senses.

How do you satisfy all five senses?
You get to see the simple and nice presentation of the dishes. Other than the smell of the natural fragrances and tastes of all-natural and fresh ingredients, you will get to feel the real texture of food with your lips. And well, the hearing part comes from the sharing of what goes into the food by me. That’s one way I build relationships with my customers.
