I like the spacious area and the recommendations by the waitress. She was very thoughtful and gave us suggestions about the food. We tried the dual soup base since my boyfriend loves spicy bases while I prefer the non spicy ones.
The mushroom soup base tasted slightly herbal and I love it. Soon, our orders arrived. I loved the fried Shitake mushroom, however, it could only be ordered once during the buffet. Most of the other choices can be ordered as much as you like.
The beef and fish slices were sliced thinly, so it was rather fast to be cooked ready for eating. The ambiance feels cozy and quiet. I'm not sure if it was due to being a weekday but it sure felt good not having to wait for too long for a meal.

Subsequent visits were quite alright although the food was slow to arrive. During my first few visits, the air-con wasn't working that well and the staff couldn't do a thing because it was linked to the hotel's main unit.
I feel that since this restaurant is opened for 24 hours, it should have its own air-con unit. My recent visit was quite a pleasure as it wasn't too warm.
I was rather disappointed with the state of the omelette when it arrived during my recent visit. It was a cooked for slightly longer than usual was rather dry.
As for the salmon chicken that is on a promotion for the High School Musical 3, the chicken was a tad overcooked. The results of the food that night felt as if the chef wasn't in a good mood.
Update (19 Mar 2009): I had a craving for eggs but when I got there, no one bothered to serve us and treated as if we were invisible. For 5 minutes. When asked to talk to the manager, the manager replied, "I know" in a nonchalant way.
The service at this branch has dropped to none.

As it was the last weekend for it, we saw the long queue both for the ticketing and tram. The guided tour for that night was scarily fun.
The trail had the staff who were dressed to blend with the night to guide us to the correct path. I wished they had some light coloured clothes since it's too dark to make out the difference between the trees and humans when they rest on the poles.
However, I would like to go there again to take proper photos of the animals since that night, they were all scared away by the screaming.
In addition, the mosquitoes and ants love the place too much too. Insect repellents are a must.

Went there for a second time as a friend was holding a wedding dinner there. The food arrived in a timely order. The food for the wedding seem to taste better.
The overall ambience for this place can be rather old since it has been there for quite some time. It isn't that big for more than 30 tables. I had to squeeze myself each time I tried to leave my table. It is suitable for a small wedding though.
On normal days, the tables are not so close together.

Usually, it's good to ask for their help since not everyone has a tea set at home and complete the art of making tea. We ordered Imperial Golden Cassia since it has a light taste and is suitable for those who dislike the strong bitter Chinese tea.
Refreshments included buns, toast, noodles and the meal set since it was near dinner time and we decided to settle it there. This place is also famous for its tea eggs. Although they are not suitable for vegetarians because of the stock used.
It was definitely a good time since 4pm on a weekday means you get to choose your table and stretch your legs when the other table is empty. We choose the third level since there were only 3 of us.
One thing to watch out for at some of the tables was the ceiling. Bending down is a must since you don't want to end up with a headache later on.
I was rather disappointed with the size of the burger since I had expected the usual burger buns. Other than that, the prices can be steep for the snacks.
