Menu   Mediterranean Salad Nicoise With Pan-Seared Tuna & A balsamic Vinaigrette   Sauteed Prawns with Basil, Garlic And Kalamata Olive, Asparagus, Cherry Tomato Confit & Pilat Rice with Raisins   Vanilla Creme Brulee with Mango Sorbet & A Sour Cherry Compote
After almost 3 years in School, I decided to try out this place called the Top Table. Brought a friend along and lucky to get seats w/o reservation even tho we came close to 1pm. The Mushroom Soup and Roast leg of Lamp were out of stock and we were abit disappointed but still take whatever is it served to us.

    Appetizers
Mediterranean Salad Nicoise With Pan-Seared Tuna & A balsamic Vinaigrette
    - The tuna tasted just right, eggs are nice too. But I don’t quite like the vegetables.

    Entrees
Sauteed Prawns with Basil, Garlic And Kalamata Olive, Asparagus, Cherry Tomato Confit & Pilat Rice with Raisins
    - The rice wasn’t dry and the prawns were juicy and fresh.

    Desserts
Vanilla Creme Brulee with Mango Sorbet & A Sour Cherry Compote
    - Vanilla Crème Brulee & Mango Sorbet was nice and sweet. Sour Cherry Compote was abit tasteless for my liking.

Didn't get to try any of the beverages, we just ordered a glass of plain water.

Overall this place gets 3 out of 5 stars, paid $25 for 2 persons. Might want to try out this place again but with reservation placed next time.

Sapporo Miso Ramen   Rice set with Karaage & Croquette   Kani & Hotate Cream Croquette   Crispy Teba Karaage   Cold Japanese Tea
Went to Watami @ The Central on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch with the vouchers I won from the facebook quiz.

I went in and notice that I was the first customer of the day and was greeted by a polite waitress.

I took a look at the menu and found out there's no unadon or takoyaki.. :(

      So instead I ordered;
      - Sapporo Miso Ramen ($9.80)
The soup is ok I guess as compared to ichiban tei I ate last time, noodle does blend with the soup base. I give it 3.5/5 stars.

      - Rice set(miso soup pickles) with Crispy Teba Karaage ($2.80 $3.80)
Chicken was too salty, might be the sauce that is making it salty and it taste normal so I give it a 2.5/5 stars. Rice & Miso soup is good, just the way I like it. 4/5

      - Kani & Hotate Cream Croquette ($5.80)
Hard on the outside, Soft inside and it taste very good as it reminds me of the fried icecream I ate last time. 5/5 stars for this! :D

      - Complimentary cold Japanese Tea
Just your normal tea, good if you had eaten something too salty or too sweet.

Overall I spend around $6.10($26.10 - $20 watami vouchers) after 7% GST and service charge. I might want to go again to try their Desserts and Sashimi with my friends if they're interested. lol

I rate this place 4 out of 5 stars. ^^

           Mabo Rice   Miso Chashu Men
Had ramen with a group of 18 from my club at 7pm on Saturday, everyone is waiting for their food after ordering.

The room we sit at has LCD TV and some comics on the sleeves makes you feel at home.

My Mabo Rice first arrived and it taste like my grandma cooking, contains some pork with tofu with some cucumber and red peppers on top. It gives you a kind of taste you would find in home cooked food~

Next is the Miso Chashu Men, this arrived after I finished my Mabo Rice, the pork was good and I love corn, the noodle isn't too soggy and the soup wasn't that salty so it was just right for me. Miso Soup Banzai! XD

Spend around $21($13 for Miso Chashu Men, $5 Mabo Rice 17%(Service Charge GST)), not really costly as compared to other Japanese restaurant.

Overall it was the best experience I had in a Ramen Restaurant, I'll give it a 5/5 stars! :D

             Suicide Buffalo Wings
Went to this Beer Restaurant called Brewerkz on Saturday after a ramen outing with 4 school mates.

Order a tower(4000ml) of beer but can't remember the name of the beer as I didn't manage to take picture of it and too drunk to remember! But It was in red and makes me drunk after 2 cups, I'm a bad drinker but same goes to the rest of my friends haha~ A tower shared with 4 friends about 9-10 cups?

And also ordered the Suicide Buffalo Wings, we thought it was spicy but it wasn't at all! But it taste fine like a normal Buffalo Wing and doesn't seem too salty or oily too.

          Spend about $25 per person.

Overall it was a good experience, I'll give it a 4 out of 5. :D

Unagi set with drink   receipt of yoshinoya
Was hungry in the afternoon yesterday at Plaza Singapura, after walking around the basement I decided to try Yoshinoya's new Unagi Bowl.

Service is fast as usual as not many were eating at that point of time.

The unagi wasn't that good as I expected, both the looks and the taste. Well with this price I guess I can't complain much about it. The vegetables were plain as there's no sauce on it, should've asked them to add some.

Miso soup is not that bad, tho might make you thirsty.

Cost about $8.55 with the Unagi bowl soup medium cup Coke.

Won't recommend unagi lovers to try, but feel free to if you want to know how it taste like. :P
