The service standard could be improved here. I asked a salegirl where the clothes hangers were placed at, she merely pointed the direction to me. I headed to where she directed me and tried searching on my own, but I couldn’t find any. I don’t think they sell hangers here, but the salesgirl simply didn’t know the merchandise in the store well enough and mis-directed me; consequently wasting my time.

There is nothing particularly good or bad, for that matter about this supermarket compared to your neighborhood NTUC. But unlike NTUC, it sells First Choice products here which includes cereal, honey, and many more items. However it doesn’t sell NTUC brand products.

This shop specialized in Korean products. - Ii sells Korean grocery and stationery. The shop is not extremely large and as it sells both grocery and stationery, it does not offer a very wide variety of either.

The grocery are mainly some frozen food, Korean condiments, a fair variety of snacks. But unfortunately, the products are all in Korean so I may not even know exactly what snacks I am buying apart from guessing from the pictures. However perhaps you can seek help from the shop assistants, but I don’t know how informative they are as I did not bother to ask.

It also sells some cutlery, which was of good quality. Some even have designs on the handles. The prices start at around $5.90 for a tablespoon.

There is a fair variety of mirror and combs in different sizes. Most are black and made of plastic hence very light to carry in your bag. The designs are elegant with raised embossment on the back of the mirrors. The price start from about $8.90 for a mirror to over $10 for a mirror and comb set.

Elegant Korean wooden boxes are also sold here. They are placed inside glass cabinets hence I expect them to cost a fair bit.

This outlet at Westmall has undergone a renovation and look nicer than before. Most of the tables have its own computer screens though some are out of order. It has pretty hanging lights, beige leather seats for some seating areas. And of course, there is the perpetually trolley belt, that passes through all the seats.

Its menu also look neater with all the sushi its offers included in it, besides the usual Bento, Don sets, side orders and desserts.
All of its Don set comes with a miso soup. But till today, they only have raw salmon Don set, and no grilled salmon Don set. In addition they are the typical fare like tempurai, eel, pork cutlet.

If you are looking for variety you can try its Bento sets, which have several items in each set. But it is always more expensive.

They offer a few different children sets in adorable plates like airplanes, etc.

To be frank, I have been to Japanese restaurants in Singapore that provide better sets, ie. Cheaper with more variety and great taste. But Sakae Sushi as a chain restaurant does offer affordable Japanese cuisne.

Although its set meals are cheap at $7.90 or $11.90, yet I think Pizza Hut offers a better deal. This is because the ingredients used in Pizza Hut set lunch will likely cost more, and its soup is better than that of Delifrance. But it doesn't include dessert like Delifrance.

Most of its $7.90 set lunch are spaghetti which are fairly cheap. I tried its fish milanese on Friday. It is basically fish fried in flour with tomtato sauce. It is edible when eaten straight away, but it has a strong fishy smell. On Monday, the grilled chicken is nice though.

I tried one of its $11.90 set, the steak and chicken combo. I opted for the salad instead of soup, the salad serving was small but the sauce used was not your typical thousand island dressing. However the dressing was a little oily even though it was fairly nice. I asked for my steak to be well done, but it wasn't too tough. The steak favour was not very strong, while the chicken has a strange herbal taste perhaps it is because of the French styled sauce used. On the whole it is still palatable.

A well known and well established job agency in Singapore.

If you are looking for a temporary job, no referral fee required. But I think for a permanent job, a fee is needed.

Anyway, the place was done up really nice, and all the staff are well-groomed in office attire. The female staff will wear make up as well. There is a seating area but no reception area, so you will have to walk in further where all the staff are working at their desks, staring into their computer screens or makng calls. The staff will ask what you want and provide you with a form to fill up.

The form will ask basic questions like your particulars, educational level, work experience and IT proficiency. There are some terms and conditions as well like you are not to be employed by the company they referred you to for a certain period of time, etc.

After you are done with the form the recruitment officer will interview you in a room where some simple questions will be asked like your work experience, type of job looking for, etc.

Whether they can successfully recommend really depend on luck, your work experience and the economic climate.
