I was passing by Toa Payoh after a library trip with my coursemates.
This shop in particular has very designs that stood out from the shops beside them so I went to take a look.

They are selling pastries like durian strudel, apple strudel, muffins, chicken puff and the best part of it is they are all made on the spot.

The salesgirl was telling me that the durain strudel is made of pure durain without any cream and all of their stuffs are made inside the shop and they are fresh.

So from what she had recommended me, I bought one durian strudel, one chicken puff and some muffins since it is quite cheap.
One durian strudel at $1.80. Chicken puff and muffins at $1.00 each. If I didn't remember wrongly.

I have always had this perception that only bakeries in Starbucks and BakerInz are good. To my surprise, this shop has very fresh and soft muffins.

The muffins has lots of chocolate even on the inside.

And yes, the durian strudel are pure durian without cream and it is cripsy.

The chicken puff has lots of fillings inside at only $1.00.

The salesperson is friendly and they tell me about their products patiently.

I will definetely go back again.

I just enquire with the staff if they have delivery. Wonderful, they have FREE delivery to any part of Singapore when the purchase is $60 and above. Able to mix everything in the store.

I used to love Chomel head to toe. I bought a number of their necklaces and rings - all with blings on them because their designs are great and the prices are affordable.

I love the service at Changi Airport. Perhaps it is not so crowded therefore the staffs seem to be nicer and friendly. The service at Orchard Wisma is not as good. Full attention was not paid when I was asking about something.

Yes, they do provide the replacing of blings when it is fallen but at a policy which I thought was stupid. They only replace 2 blings at a time and the rest of blings you would need to pay at $1 each. The staff told me if I do not want to pay for the 3rd bling then I could bring it to another outlet to replace it. Even though, it is just a dollar but I think it is stupid and make me go to another outlet. Moreover, even after replacing those blings, it came off within 2 weeks so I gave up replacing them. I’m not sure if it is the workmanship of the staff or the quality of the glue they used to stick those blings. Once they need to send my necklace back because they do not have the blings on hand and I have to go down and collect a week later.
Summarizing what I have said, the price you pay is the quality you get.

This Hong Kong Cafe is quite a new cafe. I supposed it is opened less than a year ago.

The service wasn't very great compared to the outlet at Marina Square. The food is still acceptable.

I went around 1am last night. This outlet opened till 2am on Monday - Thursday and 3am on Thursday - Weekends, I supposed.

During the night, it is quite peaceful. But the bad thing is that their staffs kept clearing the plates once we are done and that pissed me off. We are chatting half way and they interrupted us by clearing those plates. It seems that they are hurring to get off work.

      Anyway,
I love the hot milk tea. It has always been the signature drink in most Hong Kong Cafe. Their milk tea is not too sweet and it tastes just nice.
My friend had this watermelon ice which he drinks everytime when we visited Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe. It is cooling and it is great during those hot weathers.

      We also had Mango Pudding.
It is nice. There are fruits inside as well.
It is not sweet too! ( I think most puddings are sweet like crazy!)

Except for the service, I might consider to visit this outlet again...

I frequent this place often with my friends for gathering. I love the service they have. I have seen customers who brought wine there themselves for a drink as that place is cosy and nice.

It has Wifi in the store and a book shelves for your access as well!

The food is good too and the price is around there for such a cafe. I used to have the chicken broth or something like this. They changed their menu once a while for new tastes!
The boss is friendly, you can enquire about the food when you do not understand the name or the explanations in the menu.

Should try. It isn't that bad!

I went to Aston Prime with a few of my friends yesterday.
This outlet looks very classy and it seems to be expensive as I have never been to Aston Prime before. But surprisingly, their prices are acceptable even though it is more expensive than Aston's express due to its different kind of menu.

If you are a steak lover, you should try the steak here. My friend ordered medium rare which tastes very good.
We also tried their beer battered fish. It is actually fried fish and I don't taste any beer. Not sure if it is related to its name given. The serving is big. Even though it is fried, the juicy of the fish can be tasted. There is a thick meat in between those fried.

Their side dish is pretty the same as the one in Aston Express though.

          The service is good too.
Their staffs talked to us and because of the funny names they give on the menu, their staff also explained to us patiently.

          It's a good experience :)
