Was down at Clarke Quay to chill out, eventually settling down at Brewerkz for a round of beer at around 9pm I suppose.

The bar was kinda packed, I mean it was lively with the crowd of chatters all around. I kinda like the layout of the bar and the settings as it really gives you the warm and comfy atmosphere. Simply unbelievable.

I had Indian Pale Ale, a Silver Medal winner in the Australian Beer Competition as they said. As the name implies, it was pretty pale but rather smooth and strong to my liking.

My friend called for Moh Gwai which they claimed to be the strongest beer they have and rightfully, it lived up to its name. It was definitely strong, if you down several pints of it, I am pretty sure you won't be able to make your way home yourself.

Much to say, the beer served at Brewerkz was definitely of the highest standards. I would definitely come back next time and hang out around there with my buddies. A top recommendation from Chris.

Recently claimed a gold medal in the Association of Brewers (AOB) World Beer Cup 2004, a global beer competition that evaluates beers from around the globe and recognizes the most outstanding beers being produced in the world today, Brewerkz is the place where you can 'chill', drink, binge on dessert, chew on sides, splurge on ****/mocktails, bet on their homebrews.

Personally I savoured the Brewerkz Brownie (L). It's warm, moderately chocolatey, with a layer of walnuts on top, and another on the bottom. The brownie looks small, but enough to fill your sugar cravings, and I have yet to mention that Vanilla Ice Cream on top of it, which didn't seem to be tasteless though the brownie was sweet too.

*** on the Beach was a little different than others', which was supposed to be slightly sweeter for a '*****-drink'.

We ordered this side-dish which is like a pork satay. It only has 3 sticks, with 3 chunky pork and a stalk of asparagus on each skewer, it seemed 'stingy', but when we are done with it, it was WORTH the pinch!

The sauce that came with it tasted like terriyaki with something more exotic, speaking of which, I think I am getting the crave again.

Unfortunately Brewerkz closes earlier than most pubs and clubs there, and we have no choice but to sit outside of it. Mints are provided after meal, be sure to purchase some merchandise!
