i don't pluck my eyebrow often, only like once every 3 months, but if i do, i always go Hollywood secrets.
there was a time they used to have 4 outlets in Singapore, but wonder why the number of outlets drop to just two now (one at Paragon and one at International Building). Wonder is it because they are arrogant in their service?
My friend actually commented before that the staff at Paragon were arrogant. I only started visiting the one at Paragon when the one at Scotts close down. I must say that the service I get at Paragon is not as good as what I got in the Scotts outlet.
There was once this year, I did my eyebrow trimming there. As the cost was only $15, I can't pay by credit card (shop only accept credit card payment for charges above $20 or something). Thus, I had no choice but to pay by cash. Guess what? I got my change back in coins!!! oh my god, this is a shop in Paragon, not anywhere else, can't believe their staff don't even have money notes to return customer's change?
Meanwhile, I must say their staff turn-over rate is really high, as I see different therapists around every time i visit the shop.

I went to Hollywood Secrets to get a manicure & pedicure last week thinking that it should provide good service since it's quite established. Unfortunately, I had the WORST manicure experience ever. The manicurist did not do a good job trimming my cuticles and ended up cutting into my skin - I ended with a bleeding thumb AND forefinger. My finger has been slightly inflamed and swollen the last few days.
I must say I'm utterly disappointed with the bad service. I'm sure there are many places that can charge less and still provide better service. Definitely not going back there ever again!

The place is always pack with people and there is limited (sometimes only 1) therapist hence making appointment is a MUST! They seldom accept walk in unless there is no customer but hardly so... Even an appointment is made, be prepared to wait for at least 30 mins...
They all only use the plucking method cos its more effective in removing the brows and last longer than shaving.
Most of the time, I left the place tearing... It's quite painful!
