I have been always hearing from my friend that Swee Choon is one of the best place with the best dim sum that i die die must try. However, i personally feel that it has been overrated. As in i made a review about Bao Today and comparing one of their signature dim sum, "steamed custard buns" i think Bao Today offered a better custard buns. I am not sure is it because of the crowds that makes the standard drop. Moreover, it depends on each and individual definitely. Different people has different taste bud. This is just my preference towards Swee Choon. I heard that it was so good that i thought the food will make go "woahh" but after i have personally try the Dim Sum, i felt it was just okay. Its true, swee choon used to be very yummy but as it became more and more modernised, the yumminess drops.. Their carrot cake and mee sway kway used to be superb!
