Went there on last sat. Had their veggie pasta @ 4.90. I like the ketchup sauce, but dun like the salty cheese. I like their 2 chicken wings @ 2.80 and 10 meatballs @ 6.50. 2 Spring rolls @ 1.80 were crispy and kept in warm cabinet. I would recommend thse food items. I like their idea of food trolley. It helps me to carry all these food items with drinks.
We ate there @ 3pm so it was rather easy to find seats.

Everytime I walk pass Ikea Cafe, I will drool over the succelent wings and their meatballs. It looks good. Err.. but I didnt eat it cos it's not Halal. :(
But still I am glad that Ikea Tampines has introduced their halal range so it means that I can have my meal there while "people watching".
The halal food range is rather limited and they do not have their signature meatballs! I had their set nasi padang meal - not really fantastic. To play safe, should go for their finger food like nuggets and fries. You won't go wrong.
And, I tried their desserts too! Their DAIM cake is fabulous.. provided you have sweet tooth.
The outlet in Tampines is like 3 times bigger than Alexandra but it is still always packed especially during lunch and dinner and on weekends.

I just went recently and I thought it was good for an occasional lunch (cos too few variety). But the pricing is a bit strange. The kids' portion is relatively cheaper than the adult potion. 5 meatballs (kids’) was $2.90 and 10 meatballs (adult) was $6.50. The same goes for spaghetti.
So we ended getting a FRIENDS offer – Salmon, and a kids’ meatballs and 2 kids’ spaghetti. Plus the 2 free drinks (refillable!), that finish our late lunch.
Yes, the place is packed. But luckily we went for late lunch and just 2 of us, it was still fairly easy to get seats.
I like their trolley system for food. You could place up to 3 trays and just wheel the food around to the cashier and to your seats. It is supposed to be a self-return service for your finished food, but I guess Sporeans will need quite a long time before getting used to such system.
