A nice and simple place for eating a plate of nice nasi lemak and having a popiah.

If u enjoy authentic chinese nonya food then you will enjoy having a meal at qi ji.

A casual cafe that serves really yummy chinese / malay or nonya styled quick meals like laksa, mee siam, mee rebus, popiah, nasi lemak and other yummy stuffs.

One of my favourites at the outlet will be the mee siam. Its not too spicy, tangy with adequate condiments such as tau pok and a whole hard boiled egg. The poh piah though is priced a little higher is a huge roll with crispy and crunchy filling.

If you enjoy nasi lemak rice with fried chicken or fish, then u will enjoy their nasilemak sets. The chilli is sweet and makes the fried sides extremely savoury.

Coffee and tea is served with a variety of home made traditional drinks such as chrysanthemum tea, bsrley, chin chau, soya and even bean curd skin with barley. These home cooked style drinkx are not too sweet and definitely packs a old skool taste.

The onlything missing is buteter kaya toast and half boiled eggs.

Forget to mention onre of my favourite tauhu goreng which is a large piece of bean curd deep fried with malay style or thai style dressing. My favourits is the malay style which is thick peanut sauce with plenty shredded cucumber and carrot.

Service: 3.5/5 ( service is pretty quick and tables cleared most of the time) Price: 4/5 Food:4/5 Price worthy: 4/5 ( good portion size)

Will i come again: yes at least twice a week Will i bring my friends: sure... even my muslim friends because food served is halah

Had always liked to eat at this samll eatery near Bugis Junction. For me, I would always choose the set C of the nasi lemak meal, which comes with rice, one chicjen wing, otah and egg (either omlette or those fried eggs). ANd normally without fail, I would always order an extra chicken wing to go along cos the chicken wings are really so nice!!! SEDAP!!!! Especially if they are freshly fried, the taste is just so shiok!!! And the best thing is that the wings ain't that oily, which is good.

In addition, sometimes I would like to order one serving of the popiah. I like eating theirs cos' the skin will not break when you use your chopsticks to pick it up, and that will kee the ingredients in place. I have eaten popiah from pther places, whereby the skin breaks easily and ingredients just fall out.

Once in a while, I would also takeaway the popiah for my parents when I happened to pop by. So do go eat their popiah an dorder that extra chicken wing!!! You will not regret!!!
