We were at VivoCity and went to Serenity Spanish Bar & Restaurant for dinner. The place was packed and the crowed was decent. Server led us to alfresco area seating with a Fantastic view of Sentosa. In fact the ambience was very romantic.
First it was the acustic band attracted us. The trio ( I think they are locals). Since we are not familier with Spanish Food much, we asked the server to recomed us. She recomend us tapas (I can not remember the names, all in Spanish) and Seafood paella for main dish. My girlfriend ordered seafood soup too. We did not want to go for alcoholic drinks, so we ordered mamamiaaaaah strawberry moctail. It was sweet and refreshing. The prawn and bread was pretty nice. The seafood soup also something I crave to have again. Paella( Spanish Rice) was delicious.
Service was good too. Even though the place was packed, the waiters toped up the glasses promptly and cleaned the plate. Thanks for the attentiveness and the friendliness.
We had a nice romantice dinner at this Vibrant Spanish Restaurant.
We love this place and will go back again.

We Love SERENITY @ VIvoCity Before I tell How much I love this place, It was the word of mouth draw me to this place. This was my First visit to Serenity. Before I go I made a reservation and checked their website http://www.serenity.com.sg on their specialties. When we entered we were welcomely greeted in Spanish and seat the at the alfresco area with an excellent view. The ambience is very nice and relaxing. We ordered Garlic Prawn and Jamon Iberico for starters. It was interesting that the server pulled the whole ham and sliced in front of us. The aged black pig ham was fantastic. Jumbo prawn was fresh and nice. Spanish style of cooking involved with a lot olive Oil. olive oil is very healthy. For the Soup server suggested Seafood Soup. According to the server it is best selling and must be. The seafood soup is great.
We ordered Paella Valencia for the main course. Paella was delicious and was full aroma. They use saffron, chicken, prawn, squids, scallops, half-shell mussels and special spanish grain to prepare the dish. If I am not wrong the rice is "Bomba". It is said that "Bomba" rice absorbed more moisture than normal rice.
We all love the paella very much and in fact we wanted to order one more but as usual the preparation time is 30 mint. So we did not. But we will go back again to full fill our craving for Paella.
We ordered Sangria Dark Jug and it is fantastic and quite generous with wine and brandy. So you could taste the alcohol taste too. The server told us that they serve the authentic dark sangria which they have to add Spanish Brandy and Gin in to the Sangria.
We shared Peras de Vino and Aroz Leche for the dessert.
While we were having our dinner we saw few Birthday celebrations and it was fun. While the band sing the birthday song most of the staff worked toward the birthday tables clapping and singing Happy Birthday. This is Great.
The service is not bad. They top up our glasses promptly, changed the plates and asked for special requests and even asked us to give request songs for the band. In fact staffs are very friendly.
They are having Amex promotion 15% off on total bill.

Serenity Spanish Bar & Restaurant is located in Vivocity facing Sentosa Gate Way and up coming Genting Casino IR. When we sit on alfresco area, we are able to get a panoramic view of sentosa. Serenity serves Spanish Food, Spanish Drinks, Spanish Cocktails and Spanish Liquors. The Signature Dishes of this Spanish Bar & Restaurant are Paella (Spanish Rice), Bacalao (spanish salted Cod),Iberico Ham Spanish Black pig Ham, Spanish Cheese Platters, Crispy pata. Salted backed fish. Paella Valenciana, Seafood paella and so many types of paella. Tapas: Gambas Al Ajilo, Pan con alioli, Spanish Croquets, spanish Tuna Puff. We get to enjoy spanish style beef, salmon and other famous dishes too. Serenity Spanish Bar & restaurant serves delicious spanish desserts too. Pear al Vino9 Wine poached pear), Arroz leche are my favourites. Spanish Bull Frog, Ibiza Fantazy and of course Spanish Sangria are the famous spanish cocktails SERENITY serves. This Spanish Bar carries wide range of spanish alcohols, Schnaps and liquors and Spanish Absinth too. I ever tried Spanish Brandy which is old hundred years.
My friend and I are frequent patrons of this Spanish Joint. We always try Tapas. Garlic Prawn, Spanish Tuna Puff, Spanish Ham & Cheese, Spanish Croquets are our favourite Tapas @ serenity.
We always order Paella Valenciana and Seafood and Squid ( Black) Ink Paell too.
I'm dare to say Serenity Tapas and Paellas are the best in Singapore.
We always visit this waterfront Spanish Restaurant & Bar, cos we love the spanish food there and the service and the ambience too.
