We have already stayed there a couple of times and money for value is excellent. We are always booking it through one of the hotel booking websites and always find a great deal. The rooms are nice. The bed is great and you will be able to open the windows if you want some fresh air and you will see the lovely local view. The swimming pool gets some sunshine almost all over the day and it's a great place to relax.
The hotel is located about 15 mins from Wongwien Yai Skytrain.I would definitely recommend this hotel if you don't want to spend too much money on accomodation.

Sivalai Place is now my hotel of choice in Bangkok. The staff were very polite and helpful. Security to the hotel is good only people with room keys can get up to the rooms I like that. The rooms are nice and comfortable, spacious and have cooking facilities (excl pots & Pans). Bathroom is great with good quality shower. Sivalai Place is located in the local area (not business area) about 15 minute drive to Wongwien Yai sky-train. We had a 2 bedroomed apartment on the 7th floor with amazing views out over the city a real birds eye view. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Sivalai Place and would stay there again in the future :)

We stayed at the Sivalai Place for the third time in a year in July and were very happy we decided to return. Once again we enjoyed the attention to detail that characterises the Sivalai Place - the warm and extremely helfpul staff, the great smoothies. It is in a quiet, non-touristy street but is a comfortable walk to the local market and see the local life. Just 15 minute drive to Wongwien yai which then takes you to the Skytrain station. There are street stalls and noddle stalls selling great food within easy walkiing distance - and a 10 minute drive to Wang Lang Pier (where there are plenty of foods and shops). Yes, it may be a bit expensive compared to other places available in Bangkok, but the standard of service offered by the Sivalai Place and its unique style make it great value for money - much better than a big hotel on the river. We will certainly be staying there again next time we're in Bangkok.
