I was looking at the LG Optimus Black for my other line, besides already owning the iPhone 4. I wanted an Android phone, that is when I chanced upon WhyMobile's website after comparing prices around. Their phones can be purchased without line at a very reasonable price. You can compare their retail prices using the link above.
I made my way to the shop at Far East, and the owner Samuel told me they don't have stock at the moment, unless I wanted a "sign line/contract set", which is brand new and he currently holds in the store. I requested that I wanted a brand new set, which he managed to get hold in about 2 hours time. So I got the Optimus Black for $540, and I simply LOVE it!
I left their store impressed with their professionalism and honest-to-goodness in retail business. Samuel and his staff are very friendly too, and their trade-in prices for used mobile sets are very competitive as well.
They received 2 thumbs up! WhyMobile is definitely the place to go if you're looking to buy a phone without contract. Just make sure you give them a ring to check on availability before going down, as they don't hold a lot of stock.
