When I walked in to this restaurant,I was expecting some Indian customers and the unique Indian ambience. supprisingly, I see no Indian except for one waitress and one supervisor. The interior design is simple but nice and cosy. The best is they do not serve Indian food. The waiter who attended to us is a Chinese. After seated, we were given a menu. Unlike other restaurant, the price for the dishes are not clearly stated with the dollar sign. It is just a small number printed below each dish and you have to guess what it actually means. To be certain, I checked with the waiter and confirmed that it is the price for the food.

This restaurant was featured on TV for its Crab Claws. We wanted chilli crab, but they serve only claws. According to the supervisor, you may book in advance if you want the entire crab. $15 for 4 claws. A little on the high side because the claws were relatively small. However, they are quite delicious.

The Jade chicken soup ( $8 for one person ) is tasty too. It is actually similar to normal chicken soup but green in colour like Jade. It is nicer than the Seafood clear soup which my friend had ordered. The steam fish with lemon is quite special. It is fresh, a little sweet and sour and it is definitely worth trying except that the fish is too small ( $28 ). The most famous drink Mango Lassi ( $7 ) is very well accepted here. It is Mango mixed with Yogart. I can see most table ordered this juice.

On the whole, I find this Chinese restaurant by Indian is unique and worth recommending. I will come back again to try out other dishes.

Each time I past by this area, I will tell myself to visit this restaurant because of the unique decoration at the main door. It really look good from outside.

I went with my friend on one saturday evening. The ambience was nice and everything was fine except that it took quite a long while before I was attended to.

I heard about this restaurant and was told the food was nice
and therefore I was prepared to wait especially on the weekend.

Either my expectation was too high or I did not order the right type of Peranakan food, I find the food here not better than any other normal restaurant. Maybe I should come with a Peranakan next time.

It can be quite tiring shopping at IKEA Tampines. I thought it is convenience to have a bite at the reataurant until I see the crowd. Not only the queue at the food counter is long. The worse is waiting for a seat. I felt so embarassed having to wait next to someone who is eating halfway and I have to pretend not to look at them.

The IKEA restaurant is no different from the food court to me. If that is the case, I don't think the price for the food is cheap especially when there is not much choice.

However, the coffee is nice and it is free flow. So eat before you shop at IKEA. Stand around and have a cup of coffee ( $1.20 but free flow ) when you are thirsty.

I was at Joo Jiat road and came across this Fei Fei Wanton noodle. I thought I saw someone wrote about them and decided to give it a try. But there are a few Fei Fei wanton noodle, which is better?

I selected one near where I park my car. It is a coffee shop and I believe this is the correct address because I saw the same article '3 generation..' imprinted on the table too.

When the noodle is served, the first thing I did was to look around for the Wonton and Char Siew because I can't see any of them. It is just a bowl of plain noodle ( Like pasta ) with a spoonful of chilli. I was puzzled until the coffee lady look at me and told me that the wanton is at the bottom.

I was a little confused, but common sense told me that I should just stir it. Finally, I saw the wonton and char siew, only then I realise it is really wanton noodle. The noodle is quite a lot, but the wanton and char siew are very little. I don't find it that special. All I can say is that the noodle used is different from others and the wanton is really nice.

I Went there for my desert after dinner recently. I do not know about other outlet, but this outlet does not impress me at all. If you look at the food they served, it is somehow similar to Han's cafe or Swensen. I don't think it is much different in price too. But, it doesn't has the comfort of what Han's and Swensen have. There is nothing worth mentioning about the ambience. It is simply an air-conditioned, coffee shop like eating place with simple table and chairs. It is quite crowded but there is no excuse for them to take more than 20 mins to serve some ice scream and cakes. I obsered that the wait staffs are friendly, but they seems to be busy taking order and delivering food at the same time. When they are taking orders, they forget about your foods and we need to remind them a few times before we have our food served.
