When we glanced through the menu, there are actually 28 items under dim sum section and 7 items under dessert.
Although the restaurant does not have wide range to choose, there are some unique dim sum items that we do not mind trying.
Smoked Duck & Mango Bun ($4.80 for 3 pcs) - The duck meat tasted tender and with the sweet gravy coating the sinful fatty skin, it goes well with the mango flavoured fluffy buns.
Deep Fried Yam with Strawberry ($4.50 for 3 pcs) - The minced meat wrapped in yam paste was good and not oily when eaten with the strawberry. Quite a good combination.
Deep Fried Sweet Potato with Banana & Red Bean ($4.50 for 4 pcs) - This is one of the few items that we have not eaten before. Bits of banana were mixed in finely chopped red bean and wrapped in sweet potato paste. Tasted good but need to eat it while it is hot..
Carrot Cake with Chinese Sausage ($4.80 for 3 pcs) - Simple and tasteful with the tiny bits of sausage.
Chilled Black Glutinous Rice ($3.80 per bowl) - Commonly known as bubur hitam. Not sweet and but tasted good because of chilled coconut milk.
Overall, food is good and prices are reasonable. Worth to go back again to try out other items like Wanton in Spicy Vinegar Sauce and Flat Noodles Wrapped with Vegetables.

Tom Yam Soup - the broth was clear and has captured the sweetness of the seafood like prawns and cuttlefish.
Mixed Vegetables - although the dish was plain looking, the mixed vegetables were stir fried to perfection with a crunchy bite.
Fried Fish Cakes - Commonly found in most Thai restaurants but this dish was well received by most diners as the texture was firm and the spices used was mild enough to appreciate on each bite.
Black Pepper Beef in Basil Leaves - Unfortunately, the meat turned out quite tough to chew although the generous gravy tasted good with the rice.
Overall, it was a good and satisfying meal. Service was average as the staff were not attentive to clear plates or refill our glasses.

Grilled Teriyaki Chicken ($15.90) - considered quite expensive as we were served a small piece of the chicken meat. But the chicken skin was well marinated with the teriyaki sauce and tasted tender.
The salad was fresh and crunchy. Next to it was a plate consisting of 2 pieces of odd-shaped sushi which we couldnt figure out what it was.
Maron Shiratama Kakigio ($7.80) - this dessert has mixture of green tea mochi, red beans and other items. We liked it that it was not sweet.
Overall, we like their concept of serving Japanese and Western dishes like pizza, pasta, burgers and waffles. Unfortunately, service was below average as we were taken aback when one of the staff suddenly served us the bill while we were still eating. The part that annoyed us was she didnt apologise or explain why we were given the bill. She just stared at us and expected us to pay.
Unlikely to come back again as staff are not properly trained to serve the public.

We liked their idea of promoting set meals for 2 persons and 4 persons. The set menu was quite extensive and they have included many signature dishes that we would otherwise have to order separately.
Ikan Assam Pedas ( Fish in sour and spicy gravy ) - The fish was fresh and the gravy was superb when we mixed it with our rice.
Ayam Buah Keluak ( Chicken in black nut ) - There was only 1 nut in this dish but the chicken meat was fused with the thick gravy, thus making it an enjoyable meal.
Stewed Chap Chye ( Mixed vegetables in bean sauce ) - The vegetables were cooked just right, unlike some places where the cabbage were soggy. There was also generous amount of dried bean curb and black fungus.
Babi Pongteh ( Pork in bean sauce ) - The fatty pork meat was soft and tender. It has soaked up the fried bean sauce with garlic and tasted delicious.
Ngoh Hiang ( Wrapped minced meat/prawns ) - One of the few recommended side dish to try. It was served piping hot and each bite has the right balance of sweetness from the meat and prawns.
At an affordable price of $29.90 nett, we truly enjoyed our meal and will definitely come back to try the rest of their dishes.

Minced meat in olive vegetables - although one of the few comfort food that we ate during our young days, this dish was slightly saltish. Perhaps it will be better to eat it with porridge.
Pumpkin In Salted Eggs - This item was deep fried in crispy flour and then coated with salted egg yolk. It has the sweetness of the pumpkin and the saltiness of the egg yolk. Good combination.
Four Heavenly Vegetables - we have ordered this item before and therefore expected it to be similar as other outlets. It turned out that this dish was also very saltish. There seem to be too much of dried prawns. The minced meat was lumpy and did not look like it was minced at all.
Spicy Chicken In Claypot - There were 3 small pieces of bony chicken meat. The rest of the ingredients like vegetables, preserved meat, lots of dried chillies and salt fish were below our expectation.
Flower Tea - This was by far the best of our order. The fragrance of rose and other flowers made this concentrated hot drink a very refreshing end to the saltish meal.
