Yes i finally FINALLY tried Relish.

Another new craving in my list(of Sashimi and fish n chips).
Burger. Ok well Wagyu Burger but relish can also

Liked how its located nxt to a antique furniture store..or sumthing. Its on the 2nd story and i like how its concept is like. very cool

I was torn between the Ramlee- Wild rocket burger and the new Blue Cheese & William Pear Burger. So the bf got Ramlee and I got the Blue Cheese. Upsized my fries to onion rings and we ordered the deconstructed Strawberry chezcake for dessert..

The burgers were alright. I wasnt wowed by my selection . Liked the walnut butter and thepear but it seemed abit too dry. But the Ramlee was gooood. Esp with the egg and the chili and mayo. calorie overdose but heck it.

Fries were nicce. Crunchy n not too salty. Didnt get too jerlak or full. But the onion rings were a dispointment. Not gonna go much into it.

according to ice, citibank cardmembers have a promo where we can get the molten cake if we spend over 50(wic we so did). but when i asked the manager he responded that there werent any promo-i accepted it. but when i asked again specifically qouting the citibank he then confirmed there was that promo but reminded that we have to spend more than $50. in a way i was like (uh u took our orders and we so spent more than 50.heck we spent more than 60!!!). but ok..nvm..gettin the cake although to me molten cake is molten cake.kinda over it.

Cheesecake was intresting. bf enjoyed it, i was just eating it. i like the cheesecake part esp the biscuit base but sumhow lost my apetite by then and molten cake i ate just to get my chocolate fix. I left feeling full but not really satisfied. Overall it was not abig deal and i would rather pay more and go for my wagyu burger at Brown Sugar

I think this is the only place where I wouldnt mind splurging on when dining in Tampines.

Only tried their sample appetizer platter last New Years eve and due to my recent Fish n Chips cravings, me and fren decided to try out this place.

I love the decor, u can either sit at the normal dining tables or a table for 4 but seated on 2 sofas. i loved that but abit hard to eat cos the table is like a standard coffee table and only reaches to my knees.

The drinks selection looked good too but will try it another day.
I had my fish and chips duh and my fren had the chicken snitzel with the brown sauce. Both came with salad and fries.

My fish and chips were super yummy!!!The batter was light and didnt look like it was drowned in oil*phew*. oh n did i mention it was HUUUGE!!! it was like they used an entire fish!well one that is as long or even longer than a small ruler. And for like 14.90 i tink.
But its a good thing though, if not my fren wouldnt have gotten to try the fish. Yes i actually had a hard time finishing it.(at first)

The chicken snitzel was well just like a chicken cutlet. Only drowned in brown sauce. Which was not bad but well it can be gotten at a food court. Although the size just makes up for it. For 11.90 it is another huge serving.

Drinks was bit ridiculously priced thou. One canned drink at 5 a pop. abit like roadkill rite. Maybe making up for the low price of the food.

Service was oryt. The place wasnt too crowded so staff were attentive. Wonder how if its packed.

One gripe though. Its just behind the taxi stand and entrance of Century square so people passing by will be looking through like they havnt seen other people eating before. Sometimes its just so darn iritating. Even fish tanks have this concept when people can see in but the fish cant see out i tink. Restaurants shuld use that glass.

        33. Da Mario Pizzeria

        I just realised. I havnt written a review yet!!Gasps.

Ok. Well like the Ninja Turtles, Im a total pizza feind. I love love love pizza especially thin crust ones and light ones without an overload of the dough. Before da Mario, the only pizza's i had were from Pizza Hut, Dominos, Canadian piza and the other 2 for 1 pizza places. So my first time here was like *doinks* whoa. Pizza hut who??

Problem is i do not like tomato base. Yes most places use tomato base(usually i ask for the pizza without the tomato) so i did ask if it was possible to get the pizza sans the tomato base but using the cream based. Mario kindly obliged and whipped up the seafood pizza for me with cream sauce instead. So in the entire table only mua had the unique white pizza while everyone els had tomato base pizza.

Before this i did try the calamari. Which while i found was easily chewable and light, liked the batter but found it abit salty. DIdnt try the parma ham for obvious reasons(yes its weird that im ok with drinking but when eating pork or other non halal meat is concerned im not).

Then came the pasta with black truffle. it was my first time trying it too. And oh yum. Didnt know how delicious it was. It was creamy and yet not jerlak or too thick like some cream based pasta are. I happily ate my pasta and finished it before my much awaited pizza came.

When it did, mamamia, the pizza was like the way i wanted. Light, chewy yet crispy. Ok abit salty also but still good. Plenty of prawns and squids and scallops wic im not a big fan of. But i ate it all. Was feeling quite full after that. But cmon. As if i wouldnt have dessert. Did get to try the different dessert options but liked the tiramisu. Is was not too drenched in alcohol and not too dry and i savoured it bit by bit. It was actually the first time i tried a tiramisu i liked.

we sat outside and it was nice.near to the waterfront(ok not too near but ok enuf) and from the outside i could see the cosy homey interior or the shop. Staff had slight problems communicating(english not that good) but they tried and i applaud that compared to certain supposedly Halal establishment in Simpang which employ staff who dont speak a word of english.

Since i heard they have a new menu, im so going there again. this time with boyfriend in tow and no im not sharing the tiramisu.

Met up with my best fren on a quest for pizza. N no not pizza hut ok. That is just wrong. After a long day climbing up and down a plane and doing a mans job(which I still dont know why I love it so much), I really didnt wanna go far from a MRT station so we chose Raffles City as the place to meet. I was dead set on having my white pizza and The Pizza Place was here so obviously we decided to dine here. The concept is like Pastamania. Order and pay at counter. They will send the food.

          Our orders were as follows.

Salad(around $6)-typical salad, greenz, tomato, other veges that slipped my mind with balsamic vinegar.

Chicken Royale Pizza with Added Prawns personal size-(about $10) i liked it. The crust was not super thick or thin and was crispy outside and soft and not too heavy. Cream sauce was very not jerlak and the chicken and prawns were well chicken and prawns. I liked it.

Chicken Lasagne(around $10)- the chicken n musroom baked rice was not available so my best fren settled on this. He liked it and knowin full well how im such a cheese feind gave me sum of his cheese. Yumm...It was cooked just rite. Not too long till the cheese became hard yet not too short. I liked it. But can make a chilli sauce or cream based lasagne??since i hate2 tomato based(yes im strange ok i know)

We also ordered a side of the hot wings($7). Good. Crunchy, mildly spicy and not super dripping with oil.

Total damage done not sure cos i didnt pay ('',)..it was a birthday treat..A late one..but still ('',)

This is one place to go to to just let your hair down and play crazy games with ur frenz(especially in a big group).

Unlike settlers its not as crazy and not overrun with kids(maybe cos its in Boat Quay). Seats are very very comfortable and not the dining table kind(how to play games like that)

Spent a good 4 hours playing stupid games and mind rattling games. Ordered their combo thingy for 4 which allows us to choose any drinks and the snacks. Had their root beer float*yum* and chose prawn crackers and fried squid. Food was normal fried food fare. I was too engrossed in the games to even bother abt the quality of the food.

But the desserts, omg the desserts. The black and white brownie is to die for!!!really really good. Esp with the ice cream.

Staff are cool too..would update us on the promo they have going on and are attentive too. Patiently explained to us how to play the games even when before that we didnt ask for help and tried to act clever. Thank god the staff noticed and helped us out. Yay for Mind Cafe
