this is one of the inccidents.
I stayed at one of my girl friend's place for a few weeks for a report we were on.
one day, i fell terribly ill, giddy and vomitting. i could not walk much as its real dizzy at times ill blackout at times. i cant eat nor even drink coz ill vomit them out immediately.
my friend went to run some errands and wasnt home. i couldnt take it anymore and went to this clinic near her place bearing the risk of fainting
it was ard 435 when i reached the clinic. after i put my IC on the table i just sat down at one of the chairs. i heard one of the nurse saying to another nurse in dialect 'one more? dammit. eh you didnt lock the door?' i was too weak to even feel bothered.
mins later, one of the nurse told me that they close at 430, that im 5 minutes late and asked me to go again at night.
i explained to her i literally crawled to the clinic n ask if they can make an exception as im in much pain. she looked lost and explain to me that the doctor wants to go off.
she went into the doctor's room and came out with a female doctor.
'whats the matter?' the doctor said with her arms folded. (arms folded in front of patients??)
i explained to her i felt very terrible, took much effort to travel to the clinic n asked if she could see me.
'what happened?' she asked again even tho i already told her, if she was listening, but i still repeat again saying i was very giddy.
her reply stunned me, 'giddy go home and rest on the bed. i have an appointment'
and she walked away. i thought doctors are supposed to be caring? why is it that i felt like i was being interrogated and had to plead for treatments?

i was looking for a product of this particular brand and was unable to locate it. i found the similar products, just not the brand i looking for.
all the staff in the shop were looking so busy they disappeared within 3 seconds the moment you saw one at the corner of your eyes
finally! i saw one staff, engrossed in reading a piece of paper in front of the pharmacy
i approached her n ask for the location of the item.
still looking at her piece of paper, she pointed to the direction, which was the entrance. no i dont think shes trying to tell me to get lost, but maybe shes referring to that few shelves near the entrance. i went n still unable to find it.
so i went back to the lady, and before i said anything, she said 'ya' while nodding her head. i explained 'i could not find the...' and was interrupted as she continued, 'then find that side' pointing behind her, which have nothing but the medical pharmacy storage room.
i left.
1) why would they put products of the same kind but different brands in 2 different locations? 2) why would they especially put certain brands in a supposedly restricted medical storage room?
Id have gone mad if i took her words seriously

there are only less than 5 staff and some of them are deficient in some parts of their bodies yet capable of working just like normal people do
i was greeted by one of the counsellor who brought me around. a very nice and approachable lady, i believe thats one of the criteria being a counsellor? she told me that the organisation has a simple goal, which is let people know they are not alone. it wants to gather people who have addiction problems and treat them just like anyone else.
its not a fanciful place, as they save in whatever ways they can with the tight budget. they are just focused on their goal.
most of us may have stereotypes with such organization. but it was the warmth of the people that impressed me so much. everyone was smiling, looking so happy while doing their job.
as explained to me, most people are reluctant to admit that they need help, as its not exactly anything 'glamourous'. but even they finally decided to help themselves, it is also very expensive to seek for help in singapore in terms of physical or mental treatment.
thus, we care charges reasonably so as to allow everyone to have the chance of helping themselves.

there was only a salesgirl in the shop, n was attending to a caucasian lady. expectedly, i was quite 'invisible'. but its ok, the salesgirl is apparently busy. thus, i decided to go again in a while.
when i went back, the salesgirl just doesnt look as 'smiley' as i what i saw but greeted me nevertheless. i was new to the brand so i was quite curious to find out what is it about. but that mere 5 minutes was basically just a 'i ask she answer' thing. i told myself im just paranoid.
they had this star product which was quite expensive. i asked if i can have a sachet of sample for a trial but she said that she doesnt have it.
suddenly, the previous caucasian lady who was there earlier came back. the salesgirl's expression changed drastically. its difficult to not notice.
she went to the caucasian lady with a super big smile and... guess what? i was invisible again.
as i was walking out of the shop, i overheard their conversation. the caucasian lady asked for the sample i requested for and right at the moment i stepped out of the shop, i heard the salesgirl saying, 'will 3 be enough for you?'
conclusion: i wasnt paranoid

Its a shop that allows many blog shops to display their products and for customers to try them on and not just looking at the beautiful models wearing them with photoshopped.
Im pretty impressed by the shop as they really carry many different 'blog brands' and their prices are affordable too. Not too sure if the price will be different from buying from the website itself but at least it saves me the worries of items being lost through mails.
Even with cheap pricing, some of their clothes comes in very good materials too. Their staff are friendly and not pushy, giving you all the freedom to look at their wiiiiiiddddeee range of clothings and accessories.
Id say I had some really good buys from the shop. But please dont repeat my mistake, one or two is cheap, but when you bought too many, it may be too late :)
