Due to my dad's birthday, I decided to buy emicakes as it was intro by my colleague and I want to try different cake from different cake shop. So my BF accompany me went to downtown east purchase the cake.
As I know Emicakes is famous in their D24 Durian cake, Durian stuff but sorry to say that I don't like durian and I didn't choose the durian cake for my dad. I brought 1 Chocolate cake & 1 Chocolate Puffs.
Pure Addiction Chocolate Cake - $33.90, 0.6kg
The cake filled with thick chocolate mousse, it sweet and not bad. Inside the cake has chocolate-coated almonds and chocolate ganache. But the chocolate mousse was not really that soft, but overall it not bad.
Chocolate Puffs - $3.80, 6 Pieces
The puff were soft, the chocolate was thick and sweet and nice.
Their service was alright.

Holiday Eve... My BF & I not sure where to go. I decide to go E! Hub since we have never go there before. E! Hub at Pasir Ris Downtown East has open a few days ago, it looks big and nice with the lights.
After walking from Level 4 till basement. My BF & I decide to have our dinner at Superdog to give it a try since we got the coupon from their staffs.
Looking at the pictures doesn't really attract us at all. After choosing the food from the coupon. We decide to choose 'Deluxe Meal'. Order from the counter and they will serve us. We waitied for about 10 mins and our dinner is serve.
Deluxe Meal - $18.90 with coupon (UP $27.90)
Includes 1 Superdog, 1 Bacon Chili Cheese Dog, 1 Breaded Fish N Chips, 1 tall Iced Chocolate and 1 tall pineapple sensation.
Superdog - It come with soft bun, bratwurst(Pork), bacon, tomatoes, onions and cheese. They grilled the bratwurst and soft bun. It nice and tasty.
Bacon Chili Cheese Dog - It come with soft bun, hotdog(Beef), bacon, onion and chili cheese sauce. They grilled the hotdog and soft bun. It nice, tasty and abit spicy too.
Breaded Fish N Chips - The Dory Fish and Fries were serve hot together with tartar sauce. They marinated with abit of pepper and herbs. The fish is not oily, it taste sweet and nice with the tartar sauce. The Fries were nice too.
Iced Chocolate - Chocolate taste wasn't really strong but overall is not bad
Pineapple Sensation - It stated Made from Real Honey Pineapple Slices. It a bit sweet and sour, not bad drink.
After having the dinner, both of us agree that don't judge the food by the pictures. The food was suprise nice and the service was good too.
They do have some fun facts like; Dos and Don'ts for eating hotdog. Do check out from their website or their branch.

After watching ' Buzzing Cashier ' on channel 8 shows that the stall got 30/30 votes. My BF & I decide to go Tampines Round Market for dinner. The stall is located at a corner, they sell Pork Rib Prawn Noodles at morning and BBQ Seafood at night. Heard that their signature dish is BBQ String Ray & Bean Sauce White Clam.
We order 1 BBQ String Ray, 1 Stir Fried Nai Bai Vegetables with 2 bowl of White Rice.
BBQ String Ray - $10
First bite to us chilies wasn't really that fragant, it was abit dry. But, after adding the sauce which they have provide it different. It taste much more better with the sauce. The sauce has chopped chilies, onions, garilcs, abit of fish sauce, lime juice and abit of sugar. The string ray was not bad, it is not overcooked as the meat was thick.
Stir Fried Nai Bai Vegetables - $4
The vegetables is fresh and crunchy with some fried small fish and onion slice.
White Rice - $0.30
The rice were a bit dry need to add sauce will be better. Nothing really special.
Service was ok, we waited for about 15 mins our foods was served.
After heard some recommendation My BF & I with 2 other colleagues Adrain & Landon decide to have dinner at Miss U Cafe... The place is air-conditioned environment, cosy with wooden furniture & sofa seats. At the left hand side of the corner you will get to see all the wine on the shelf.
After looking at the menu, we decide to order 1 Miss U Sampler, 1 Cheese Pizza, 1 Salmon Hollandaise, 1 Rib Eye Steak with Red Wine sauce & another 1 Rib Eye Steak with Black Pepper sauce.
Miss U Sampler - $18.80
It a combine of Cod Nuggets, Calamaris, Popcorn Chickens, Garlic Bratwurst, Corn Cobbette, Vegetables crudites & Potato Wedges and it come with Cheese, Tartar & Salsa sauce. The platter is big enough for more than 4 people to share. Everything is fried except for the vegetables. Overall the platter still not bad.
Say Cheese Pizza - $15.90
The pizza is richly topped with Mozzarella, Edam, Emmental and Blue Cheese. It serve hot, it was nice and can get to taste the strong cheese. It a nice dish Adrain has made a good choice.
Salmon Hollandaise - $17.90
Gilled salmon filled topped Hollandaise sauce and dress with beetroots compote, served with daily vegetables & roasted herb potato. I have choose this dish as my main course as it stated must try. Quite disappointed as I don't really feel any special about this dish. I can't taste hollandaise sauce, the roasted herb potato is abit salty. The beetroots was special as I can taste that there is red wine. Not really a good choice.
Rib Eye Steak with Black pepper/Red wine Sauce -$19.90
Gilled rib eye steak accompanied with daily vegetables & roasted herb potato. Medium well done with black pepper sauce, medium rare with red wine sauce. Both steak were nicly done. Not a bad dish. Good choice by My BF & Landon.
After having our appetizer & main, they decide to order 3 dessets. We order 1 Apple of my Ice, 1 Sinful treats & 1 Banana Speed
Apple of my Ice - $8.50
A scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top of the apple crumble pie with some strawberry sauce. After having the first bite of this desset you wouldn't want to have another bite of it. This desset was poorly done. It was hot but it was too soggly can't even taste what inside the pie. It shouldn't come with the strawberry sauce. A bad choice we had made.
Banana Speed - $8.90
3 scoop of ice-cream; chocolate, strawberry & vanilia, banana and some cornflakes at the base. It stated NewZealand Ice-cream but after tasting it I don't think it nice. As we can taste there is some ice inside the ice-cream. If you can taste ice inside which mean they have keep the ice-cream for some time. It not really that nice. Another bad choice we had made.
Sinful Treat - $8.90
Cornflakes as the base, coffee with chocolate ice-cream, chocolate syrup, cream and marsmallow at the side. Finally a not bad desset we had.
For the service is not really that good. As we waited for about 20 - 30 mins before they serve us the appetizer follow by our main. We need to inform the waiter to refill our drinks. Based on this experience, i will not be going back to this place again.

Working around east of Singapore not too sure where to have your meal? I went to have lunch with my lunch partner, total 6 of us. This place was intro by Janice. It at a corner where it near the Shop & Save suprtmarket. The design of the place were not bad, it kind of chinese style and simple too.
We order 1 Set menu for 4pax share among 6 of us. 1 Deep fried Soon Hock, 6 steamed Juicy Meat Bun. 1 Pot of Chinese Tea.
While waiting for our food, they serve us Pickles, it abit sour and sweet wih some sesame seed, not bad.

Soup of the day was Shark Fin Melon Soup - The shark fin melon was soft, the soupwas refreshing and sweet.
Deep Fried Prawn with Salad Sauce - The Prawn were unshell and deep fried. It big and juicy with the salad sauce.
Steamed Sea Perch in Hong Kong Style - It Cod fish not too sure why they call it Sea Perch maybe it another name of it. The fish was abit overcooked as it lost it sweet taste. But, it was a not bad dish.
Roasted Crispy Chicken with Homemade sauce - The chicken was nice together with the homemade sauce as it has lots of sesame seed, some honey I guess. After a few bite it kind of abit too sweet.
Deep Fried BeanCurd with Cereal - The Beacurd were hot and soft together with cereal it nice.
Bai-Ling Mushroom with Seasonal Vegetable - The mushroom were soft and nice, as for seasonal vegetable is some cabbage without the sauce is abit plain.
Steamed Rice - The rice is abit dry without the sauce.
Dessert of the Day - Shark Fin Melon with Longan, the dessert is cold, too sweet and the melon is abit too hard. It not really that nice for us.
Side Order Steamed Juicy Meat Bun - 6 for $6.00
The juice of the meat bun is sweet and tasy. The meat doesn't have too strong smell, it a nice dish.
Deep Fried Soon Hock - Promo Price $9.80, Usual Price $16.80
The fish were cripy and nice it goes with mango sauce with some spring onion and mango slice.
I didn't get to try the Ramen. Will try next time for the ramen.
