i went to filmgrade at illuma too. The counters where we have to buy the tickets were very spacious but the airconditioning was freaking cold~~. Next time remember to bring a jacket along if you are going to filmgrade. Relatively new place, so their "equipments" are new so it does not give you the feeling of creeps. I won't really recommend people to go cause the tickets aren't really cheap. However, maybe others can give it a first try? Its quite a cool place and illuma has a spacious area for people to hang out after watching movie.

I just went to the singapore science centre during new year eve. currently they have the body world exhibition which is quite interesting as you get to know and see real body parts from humans who have generously donated their organs. I also went to the normal science centre exhibition where alot of kids like to play at. I like the section where you get to use your brain and solve the puzzles. other than that i think the science centre needs a lot of maintenance. Alot of their indoor waterworks need to be repaired. And the place where they rear some rodents should be shifted to some other place. Its totally impossible for tall people to crawl on the floor to see those rodents.I had a really fun time at the science centre that day but i was really sad when we were forced to leave at 6 because the science centre was closing. Maybe science centre should close at a later time and then they can have another extra section called astronmy :D

Singapore Ballet school is like the elitist school for ballet dancer. I tried to audition into the school but felt that the timings for lessons were really weird. They were in the afternoons and had to be 3 times a week. But the only way to the school was to climb a really long stairway up fortcanning park. No wonder the ballet girls are all so fit. Another thing to mentioned is that you actually have to pay the teacher for auditioning you which is 16 plus bucks without GST. So with GST it was even more expensive.

I used to attend their foundation guitar class. i quit after a month of learning. The teacher was really lousy and he can't speak english properly. I was really disappointed with them because that was the teacher's first time teaching class. I think they should have made him taught the higher grades guitar class. Afterall, the highergrades will be able to understand his teachings better since the higher grades have some basic knowledge of guitar already. I really hope that teacher is no longer teaching there because it will seriously causes students to have a really bad guitar foundation.

i love this cinema. it has large and comfy seats. but there was once when i was watching jay chou's movie on the first day of of ghost festival. i was freaking scared half way through the movie because i was seating on a couple seat and there was no one next to me. maybe the seats are really TOO large. Also, what i love about cathay is that their advertisement time is really short as compared to GV where they have ten minutes of buffer and advertisement time. When you go and watch a movie at Cathay must always try to buy popcorn and get the cheapest tickets which is $6 for students (whee!)
