First time trying black ball! My friend was like emphasizing on how nice it is and that I definitely would not regret trying.
So I tried and ordered the mix & match. Four choices are: Yam Q, Golden Sweet Potato, Nata d’coco, ice jelly. Their standard base was grass jelly.
There was quite a crowd and it wasn’t easy to find seats. Waiting time for the food was around 10-15 mins.
Out of all the choices, I loved the ice jelly the most ;D
The ice jelly had a slight lemon taste within which makes it refreshing.
The yam Q is chewy and the yam taste was just right, not too strong :D
The golden sweet potato is sweet and soft.
The nata d’coco was however a little disappointing. I felt it was too sweet.
It tastes similar to the coconut jelly for bubble tea. It’s not too bad though, just that it doesn’t really go well with the rest of the choices.(:
The grass jelly portion was quite a lot, which makes it a little too much to finish :x
Overall still love it ;D good choice for desserts ^^

We also added the soup of the day, garlic bread and a drink of my choice to make it a complete meal with an additional of $3.90.
As usual, the soup, garlic bread and drinks are served first.
Delighted to hear that it’s the tomato soup for the day!^^
Really love their tomato soup. Although I would say it isn't really very special about it, it's thick and the tomato taste and ingredient is generous and just right;D
The main dish came around 10minutes later.
Love how their spaghetti and salad is topped with their special mango sauce that makes it more appetizing with the sweet and sour flavour;D
The salmon was fresh and sweet. And there’s a slight grilled taste within, coupled with some of their special sauce, making it nice and juicy ;D
Enjoyable and satisfying meal. Love dining at hot tomato! :D

Saw this durian mochi and decided to give it a try as it looks nice and interesting ;D
It costs$3.90 for a box of 4 mochi.
Indeed, I did not regret purchasing it.
When it is left thawed for around 20 minutes as instructed, the mochi skin became soft and chewy :D
The durian meat has fully filled the mochi! Right after biting into the mochi, it felt like I'm eating real durians except that there's a layer of thin mochi skin outside.
It's really a pretty generous portion of durian given ^^
Really love it:D
It’s like having the convenience of eating real durians without having to dirty your hands too much.
What's more is that the durian still tasted fresh and delicious.(:
It's at a reasonable pricing too!;D

The first time was the Pool Terrace which is double storey, with fully-equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms.
It is quite big and it gives the feeling of a terrace home, comfortable.(:
They have a limit electric usage available free for us and it will be chargeable if we exceeds the limit.
It's quite a pleasant stay at the terrace and the equipped kitchen makes it pretty convenient to prepare foods for BBQ and others.
As for the Garden Terrace, it is much smaller as compared to the double storey pool terrace.
There is only two rooms. The living room is quite small too.
the BBQ pit is located away outside of the terrace, unlike the pool terrace which is located in the terrace unit, which gave quite a fair amount of privacy :D
even though the garden terrace is smaller and less convenient, the price difference explains the differences.
The garden terrace would be suitable for class chalets though.
The double storey pool terrace would be suitable for family gatherings/celebrations ;D
I would recommend the double storey pool terrace even though the price is higher. It's around $280 per night.

Got the blueberry muffin at $3.60 each ;D
Glad it isn't too sweet. I love the crunchy part at the top, though I'm not sure what it is.
it is crunchy and brings a little sweetness within.
The blueberry isn't a lot.
I guess it would have tasted better if there were more blueberry flavours in the muffin?
The texture is good though, and the muffin doesn't make my throat dry like some other muffins. It's fluffy and a little spongy :D
Its a more affordable item to get at Starbucks.(:
