So you thought Cafe Cartel had good Saint Louis Pork Ribs? Trust me, you wont want to go to the Cafe Cartel at Plaza Singapura for anything!
I've been there twice.
The first was with a bunch of guys and after making our order, we started getting our 'free' bread which came together with meal. Shortly, their service crew arrived to our table and slammed the food in front of us, without any utensils. When requested for, the same waiter walked past swiftly and threw the utensils onto the table. Service was unacceptable and we lodged a complain.
The second time I returned to the same place just last week, this time with a girl. A foreign worker was taking my orders and yes, when asked for 2 eastside brownies. Only one came, and I immediately blanked out and asked where's the other.
The waiter said ,' you ordered only one.'
So my friend and I had to share the SUPER SWEET brownie. Shortly after we started, another Eastside Brownie arrived at our table. There you go, a confusion, together with a big problem with the staff that Cafe Cartel has been recruiting.
Again, the food is fine. So far, the joint at IMM was the best for me. But please guys, train up your crew:D

I just gave them a 2nd visit yesterday in PS outlet, and yet another dissapointment for their poor service. Especially those serving staff. Realise there are 3 different type of staff in their restaurant where differentiate by their colour, red collar are the staff suppose to serve on table, yellow collar staff seems like the staff to lead us to our table at the outside console and the blue collar staff seems that they are more senior. (p/s:Correct me if I am wrong!) And only those blue collar staff are more energetic and efficient when come to serving us. There are this young lady (red collar) are super ignorant when we wave our hand towards her for service, and she pretend that she didn't anyone of us. And we spotted that she was using the ear phone to chat with another colleague. And she bang the chair quite hard when she push those chair towards the table when she's doing the cleaning. However, my friend ordered their Caesar salad which cost about $8.90, but happen to be another dissapointed as only few piece of lettuce and few "cloves" of hard boil egg. The salad seems abit dry too.. Well, I don't think they deserve for my 3rd visit!

I always don't understand why there'd always be long queues for this restaurants. I never liked dining there.
The seating were quite cramp and the service staff were not very efficient.
I'd tried the lasagna, and a few main courses like seafood combo, and sirloin steak. The look of the lasagna was disgusting, and the taste wasn't apetisizing. The seafood combo was also too oily...made me feel very unhealthy eating it. The sirloin steak was also not tasty enough.
The drinks also couldn't make it...It seemed like almost every choice of my drinks was a mistake. It either tasted weird or not very nice.
I will choose not to return to this restaurant.
