Well I think the most unique offering of Isetan (Shaw Centre) is its supermarket. Unlike other supermarket, it sells Japanese specialty or other delicacy. Like deep-fried squids cooked on the spot. However prices are always a little on the steep side. For example, 1 serving could cost $10.
As for other grocery, it sells the typical brands found elsewhere but the prices are usually higher. So don't shop here for essentials unless you really have to.
I visited the ladies department before as well for accessory, the brands are quite common like Chomel, De Fingers, etc. But the salesgirl was quite attentive without making me feel like I am being harassed.
