A week ago, i and some of my friends(about 8) when to clarity cafe at purvis for dinner, we ordered a lot of things, a small build lady came to take our orders, guess she was not local, maybe phillipines,it was around 8.20pm as i look at my watch,so we waited for the food to come while we chat along, plain water were serve,we ordered 8 sets plus the main course and desserts too, soups were served, but the amuse bush came in 20 minutes later,we were a little frustrated, hopping that the main dish to be serve soon as we were hungry,35 minutes past still nothing, my friend ask that waiteress why was our food not here yet, she say she will check it out,but no respone from her after that,to our surprise she was talking to another waiteress, happily and smiling in some of the corner, what about our food? 45 minutes pass, still nothing,we can't wait any longer,we were all very frustrated,we asked the waiteress here, this time a thin long hair lady came,a phillipine too,we need to cancel all the orders,we requested to talk to their superior and give us a very good explain, WHAT NO SUPERIOR NO BOSS NO ONE TO TALK TOO? a cafe with no boss and superior around? we can't imagine that, this was ridiculous, what kind of cafe was that? ****,still expect us to pay for the soups and plain water? GO TO HELL,a cafe with no management, staff with **** attitude and no sence of responsible on their job,What's the meaning of this cafe saying "WHERE HAPPY PEOPLE MEET" it all bullshit, rubbish,we will never going to step a single step in this **** cafe ever again, not even introduce anyone there ever,HOPE THAT THE PERSON reading my email do something about it REAL SOON.

i was @ miss clarity's on a saturday evening with 2 of my friends. My 1st impression of the place was just PINK, but sadly not in a sweet or cute way. The table and chairs look like that of a canteen and the place just reminds me of a cheapskate looking pink canteen..

It took the servers quite a while to serve us a round of water & it only came after we placed our orders. 1 of my friends had the ham pasta & i had the chicken cordon bleu. I did not manage to taste the pasta.. but the chicken cordon bleu was one of the worst i had so far. There is only a small miserable piece of ham inside the chicken which tasted bland, not much marination done i would say. The sides had broccoli and some panfried potatoes which tasted even more bland.

For dessert i had the mud ooz which is like a chocolate fondant with vanilla icecream on top. It took like more than 10mins just waiting for this to come.. but the wait was well worth. i believe this is the only dish that tasted decent.. All in all, i don't think i will come back to this place again.

        Beacon & Sausage Baked Rice

Generous with their serving of sausages and backed rice, definitely worth every cents of your money at just $9.80! The taste of the food is pretty average (what can you expect with just beacon, sausages, rice and cheese?), but with the quantity served at such a attractive price, it justify all cost. The service at this shop is also quite impressive. I remember asking for 2 glasses of water, instead, they provide me with a jug for 2 of us to share. I don't remember any shop giving us such a generous serving of water before anywhere in Singapore!

For the ambience in the shop, I find that it is pretty cozy. Every table in the shop is lit by a candle, providing a romantic feeling in the air. However, if you want to have some quiet moments with your date, it is better to go there during the off-peak hours as the shop can get pretty noisy with all the evening crowds coming in for their meals.

        Overall, quite a satisfying experience.
