Tucked away in the basement of the mall, this nondescript restaurant serves the usual Thai food we are all familiar with. I called ahead and was told that they only accept reservations for four and above. Staff were attentive enough to call us to reconfirm our reservations, so we assumed that they were very full. When we arrived, only four tables were occupied, and they were practically empty on a Sunday evening!
We ordered the usual fare of Phad Thai (as part of a coupon promotion) and also a Pineapple Rice. Both turned out to be really small portions, had few ingredients and was very lightly seasoned to the extent of being very bland and flavourless.
Our Lemongrass and Sour Plum drinks, on the other hand, were very very sweet and had to be watered down twice. Flavourful to start out with, though.
Staff were rather attentive (although being almost empty probably accounted for their prompt service). They were also courteous and helpful.
Verdict: Perhaps we'd give this outlet a miss for more established restaurants which offer slightly more expensive but flavourful and more authentic Thai dishes.
