After reading the recent reviews of sushi my craving for some brought me to this new branch at AMK today.
To me, sushi are all about the same. The element that separates the good and the average ones is the freshness and the rice grain used for the sushi. And Suki Sushi is just an average and at times below average kind of sushi.
But for the price of 99cents, who cares if the rice used is top notch or not. As long as the salmon and tako is fresh and edible, I'm good.
Decor of the place is simple and Jap like. If I didn't see wrongly, all the seats are around the belt. This is good cos everyone will be able to help themselves to the cheap sushi on the belt. The kitchen is right in the center of the belt and there's a little table on the same level as the belt, slightly above the dining table. This is where they'll place the food you ordered through the waiters. Great idea as this allow the waiters to concentrate on taking orders and clearing the plastic covers from the table. Serving is done by the kitchen helpers.
Am giving it a 4/5 cos of the value for money color plates at 99cents. Will surely go back for more. Maybe a Yebber Suki Sushi outing one day? Haha!

Spotted its huge advert banner during lunch with colleagues @ Banquet (AMK) , that is just opp from the building. My colleague suggested we have our dinner (same day) there as she sang praises about its super value for money sushi prices.
My 1st impression when I 1st approach the restaurant was that its deco is pretty impressive for how cheap their sushi were going at... Lots of deco is up to remind us of the festive season is near (CHRISTMAS!).
Am overall satisfied with the service (cleared our plastic sushi covers within 10min & speedy friendly young crew) & food (super fresh! especially their sashimi as I could see the chefs preparing them in the open air kitchen right beside me!)...
A good alernative to binge (slightly healthily) on good quality sushi as it's going @ only 99 cent per plate & only $2.99 per red plate (highly recommended!).
Plus it's located in AMK (right behind the still renovating another highly recommended wet market hawker stall), just walking distance I believe for many AMK folks...
Will definitely head back without 2nd thought with more mouths to feed! =D

Didn't know about this hidden place until my gf brought me to it. Wah... I can only say it's every pennies worth! Eventhough their standard is not that fantastic, it's also not that bad. Could see they are very generous with their servings! As in the other reviews, I affirm that the price is the most attractive factor! Cheap and good I say! With $50 bucks you can feed 4 mouths!! What a deal!! Anyone with a cheapskate mind like me should go! (I mean it in a good way ah...Hahaha...)
