I was not particularly impressed with the service at this outlet. Although the queue was short (I was in fact second in line), it took ages for a staff to even come around asking for the number of paxs. They literally waited till there's an empty table then proceed to the queue to attend to patrons.

My friend and I both ordered the pork cheek ramen and a serving of the bamboo chicken. They served the first bowl of the ramen within 10min but waited for ages to serve the other bowl. The bamboo chicken was only served after we had almost finished with our ramen!

The only thing that we were pleased with were the food. At least the ramen tasted as good as I remembered from my first visit at the 313 outlet. The soup base is really fragrant and tasty. It leaves you craving for more. You can choose to add their special made chilli paste to add spice to your ramen!

I would definitely visit other Ramen play outlets should I have craving for the pork cheek ramen.

Shinkei Japanese Restaurant offers what Japan cuisine has to brag to their food about with its mouth-watery dishes and delectable foods that could satisfy your cravings with variety of selection of Sashimi, Sushi, Tempura, Yakitori and many more.

I patronised Shinkei's dinner buffet with a couple of friends. The whole dining experience was very nice. The staffs took time to explain to us the prevailing promotions that are available and also how to go about making order.

Since it's a jap buffet restaurant, I went with the expectation of a the usual buffet style that food were prepared, displayed and we had to go round taking the food. I was in for a pleasant surprise that we need not do none of those. The menu is listed with a wide range of varieties of food and we just need to submit order form and wait for our food to be served. We didn't have to wait long for the food either.

The second surprise was that the food served were all freshly prepared! from sashimi down to the fried stuffs and yakitori. I cannot stress enough how fresh the sashimi were! I lost count of how much of them we ordered. It's definitely a value for money meal!

Food is superb and service is also good. So what are you waiting for? Gather a few friends down to Shinkei and start gobbling now!

I am always fascinated by flea markets. You never know what good stuffs that you can get out of it and at such good bargain!

The blogshop clearance 2 was organised by T.Cartel over at the Suntec convention hall concourse area. It was spacious, air conditioned and with free wifi so that you can take pictures of your purchases and instantaneously post them to brag about how good a bargain they were!

I had a good time chatting with the different vendors and learning a few make up and skin care tricks here and there. It was definitely enjoyable and yea...I bought a lot of stuffs! They were all so cheap and good! I am definitely looking forward to the next blogshop clearance sale!

This is most likely the best value-for-money Korean BBQ all-you-can-eat buffet in town. At only $22 nett you get a varieties of meat and vegetable and even cooked korean food such as the stir fry glass noodle, cold noodle, kimbap and etc.

It was my korean friend who brought me to this buffet joint and since then I had introduced and brought many friends there. Business was so good that the owner expanded the eating area so that more can enjoy this affordable and yet decent buffet.

I like how they have at least 4 different types of marination for each type of meat and the varieties of vegetable is good too. They had recently added more cooked food to the buffet spread. The cold noodle has always been my favorite and now with an addition of the stir fry glass noodle! fantastic even for vegetarians. For dessert selection you have watermelon and ice cream. Oh my... their ice cream is as good as Mac's sundae!

Enjoying korean bbq food with soju. What else more can I say? Go for it!

shop   Original flavor   small combo platter   seats   soju
Kko Kko Nara Korean Restaurant is a cosy chicken place with a feel of Korea on the street where the restaurant situated in, and that feeling is stronger in the family-style it is run plus the smooth vibe of Korean native language in the restaurant air.

There are four different flavors on offer: original, soy garlic sauce, sweet & spicy, and hot & spicy. Combo set is a wise choice for those who want to have a flavor mixing in one platter. Chicken is fried perfectly without greasiness. You can feel the crispiness of the skin and the sweetness and juiciness of the meat, bursting with flavors of the marinades.

We ordered the combo platter and an additional half serving of the hot & spicy. My personal favorite was the original flavor! The chicken is so crispy and yet not oily at all. I wonder if they are using air fry method? Mind you, the hot & spicy truly lives up to its name! No joke when this Indonesian girl commented that something is spicy then it is REALLY spicy. I was at the verge of scratching my head from the spiciness upon eating my second piece of the hot & spicy chicken!

You do have to spend some time waiting for the food to be served though and the waitress need to learn to communicate in english. Well, she was having difficulties communicating with us in chinese as well despite her being a chinese.

Nonetheless, if you want to have tasty fried chicken in a more laid-back atmosphere rather than in a fast food place, Kko Kko Nara is a good choice. I am definitely going back for more of the original flavor fried chicken with soju!!
