I am okay with their service (or even lack of), cos afterall, it is a no frills low cost carrier. The downside is that these days, the fuel surcharges are so expensive that even these budget carriers are not THAT cheap anymore.

My only gripe from my most recent flight is their limited availability of food items to choose from. In the menu, there are already few enough items to choose from (depending on your flight routes), and they actually didn't serve a particular item that I asked for despite it being in the menu for my route. Oh the woes!

    Well, beggers can't be choosers!

I think I am getting bored of Bangkok. Or maybe it's just because the shopping doesn't seem as attractive these days with most blogshops bringing in stuffs from there. True enough the shopping there is much cheaper, but the quality of the apparels are undeniably lower too. Indeed, we pay for the quality.

For more unique finds I recommend Suan Lum. A tad like our Haji Lane, the shopping lanes are littered with small shops that sell things different from everyone else. It's a break from all that "you've seen one, you've probably seen them all" syndrome. Still, don't expect EVERYTHING to be unique here. There will inevitably be some fashion that repeats.

I think the most worthy activities to engage in when one is in Bangkok is to go on an eating spree and visit massage parlors every night (: Food is really significantly cheaper there than in Sg, especially if you head to the Japanese restaurants. Central World has a level-ful of Jap restaurants for you to choose from, so take your pick after comparing the range they serve and the prices.

Massage parlors can be found in almost every nook and corner too, so I am sure you will be able to find one that looks comfortable and inviting enough with friendly prices too.

I agree the chicken wings are delicious here! Not in particular this outlet actually, basically any Crystal Jade with the takeaway counter would prolly sell the wings.

At $1.40 it may seem a tad expensive, but I'm sure your taste buds will be jolly happy with your buy! When I ate it again recently it didn't taste as WOAH as it did when I first tried it though. Perhaps it's to do with the yearning and craving that raised the expectations of the taste buds. Still good though, worth a try if you're looking for some snacks and you see a CJ counter nearby.

A small boutique hotel I stayed in during my brief visit to Pattaya. It is conveniently located along the Pattaya Second Road, with a shopping mall with numerous restaurants, bistros and pubs just round the bend. The beach is just a 10min walk away, and you would even pass by yet another shopping mall along the way.

The staff are really friendly and because it's such a small and intimate setting, chances are you would be able to recognise the staff by face easily and it makes their already great service seems even more personable.

The rooms are indeed like what you see on their website. A relatively new hotel, the furniture and building itself is generally in excellent condition. The bathrooms are very clean and well-maintained as well. Something worth mentioning is their large bathtub which is truly meant for couples to dip in, and the provision of comb (on top of your usual toothbrush/paste), which I feel reflects their thoughtfulness.

The only downside is that the rooftop pool is kinda small, and there isn't much of a view to boot outside your window. However, considering the amount you're paying for, I would say this hotel is definitely value for money! Oh and did I mention their food's delicious too??

Am recommending it to one and all who are planning a visit to Pattaya and don't wish to bust your budget on your accommodation!

            Quite a disappointing visit!

I've been to both Phuket and Pattaya, and I would say that the latter is a much smaller version of the former. It's really, you could say, a city with incidentally a beach attached. Cos' the beachfront was really disappointing, with barely a 5m stretch of sand.

There aren't much entertainment or shopping available, save for the sleaze. Things aren't really very cheap either, I think one can find much better food at lower prices in Bangkok. Largely western cuisine, other than the small local eateries that serves authentic Thai food.

If you would really like to visit this place at least once in your life, give it just 1 day, the most 2.
