Had a horrible experience with Igard Orchard. Wanted to buy half a year worth of contact lenses, but the staff lied that contact lens companies only provide a pair of trial lenses with one year worth of supply. After paying for one year worth of contact lenses, I checked with another optic shop near my home and realised that contact lens companies in fact give trial lenses even with half a year of supply. When I called to complain to the manager, the manager apparently said that the company will deny me service in the future.
The company then offered to call the bank to cancel my transaction, which i accepted. However, I just checked with my bank today and they highlighted that they did not receive any request to cancel my transaction from Igard.
Avoid this shop at all cost!

dissatisfied with service provided by optometrist and the staff members there. the staff were unable to provide adjustment for glasses and i was left with a bitter after taste. basically my glasses are still loose and they are unable to give a proper fit. the optometrist was a little distracted and i felt tended to treat those who appeared to be well-heeled better. maybe they do have their own fans, but it's very likely i won't be going back there again to have my eyes tested. there are other opticians who also provide a decent eye examination too. the service rendered to me gave me a feeling that i was not a worthy customer. the staff member, one of them especially, did not seem to understand what customers want...

i've been to their orchard branch at International building. Their shop specialises in optometry and they seem to have a wide range of eye services. I am most impressed about their specialist pediatrician eye doctor who gave very good advice to my son. I will strongly recommend you fix an appointment to see their eye doctor to avoid waiting. Their shop has many designer eyeglasses to choose from. I finally decided on 1 pair of Prada sunglasses and 2 pairs of Silhouette eyeglasses. They were all reasonably cheap. My son managed to get his contact lenses and the doctor found that his eyes were more suited towards Acuvue after an eye test that lasted half an hour! And it worked very well - they were kind to explain to us why his old contacts didn't work. My son also had to do some vision therapy for his vision problem and he has since recovered from excessive eyestrain.
