There is always a long queue at Kim Gary Restaurant at Vivocity whenever I walk pass, so I've always wondered whether the food here is really that nice. One of my friend suggested having dinner here one day, so the group of us headed for Kim Gary for our dinner. Luckily for us, the queue wasn't that bad and we got seated quite fast.
I ordered the cheese baked rice and was surprised it was in a bamboo steamer when it was served. It tasted good. The rice had the fragrance of the leaf (not sure what leaf is that called, but they laid the leaf on the bambo steamer with the baked rice on it) and the sauce for the rice is nice as well.
Overall, the food is quite good and the atmosphere in the restaurant is quite friendly and warm.
Dine here once with my friends during dinner. The interior here is quite nice as it looks quite hip and modern and atmosphere/ambience was quite good. The service was alright.
The food was not bad as well. The Mango Chicken was really nice and I was quite surprised when I was eating it as I didn't expect there to be mango stuffed in between the chicken. It was quite special and taste quite good. Worth a try.
Another special thing is that they serve their plain water in a big glass bottle. They'll put one big glass bottle at your table and you can just pour from it if you need a refill.
Artbox mainly sells stationeries like pen, pencil cases, notebooks bags and fancy goods like bags, shirt, cushions, gadgets etc. The main thing about Artbox is that all their items have really cute designs which girls would really like. Their notebooks designs are really cute and to add on, the price is really affordable. I like their pen or pouches designs too.
It is a good place to get small gifts for girls since the prices are affordable and designs are really cute. Most girls will probably like them.
I visited the Uniqlo at Tampines when it first opened and it was really crowded then. The whole shop was filled with people and the queue for the fitting room was really long as well. But the staffs at the shop greeted everyone enthusiastically whenever people stepped into the shop and that was quite a refreshing sight. Not sure if they still do that now though.
I was really lucky then and won 50% discount voucher, so everything I bought was at about half price but there was a spending limit to the voucher if not, I would have bought more clothes there. I went with a group of friends and we spent quite alot of time in there browsing and choosing clothes.
I really like their basic t-shirt since the material feels really comfortable to wear and it looks good. Besides basics, I bought a thin jacket too and overall I didn't regret anything I bought there since the quality is good and I like it.
I will definitely buy clothes from Uniqlo again for the comfort and quality. Only thing is that the price can be quite expensive...
My friend introduced Go! Go! Curry at Ion Orchard to me when we lunched here. The place is abit small and cramped and there are limited seats here if you dine in. But got to say that the curry here is really nice! It is thick and full of favour and for those who cannot eat spicy stuffs, the curry here is not that spicy. Also, I really like the rice they use as well since it those type of rice that sticks together abit and is soft and nice. I've tried the pork and chicken one before and the meat is crispy and goes well with the curry. The economy class and it is quite filling for me.
I'll definitely go back again to eat the curry rice since I really like it. The only bad thing about Go! Go! Curry! is that it is abit expensive and the seating there is quite cramp and crowded.
