What can you expect from Taiwan-based indie outfit Cosmos People 宇宙人 at their live shows? Nothing short of a visual spectacle, plenty of energy, and their infectious upbeat blend of disco-funk and acid-jazz grooves. They've topped music charts in Taiwan, and been invited to play at various music festivals including the most recent SXSW in Austin, Texas. With their irreverent styles and fun personalities it's easy to see why.

Drawing influences from their favourite artists like Earth, Wind & Fire, Jamiroquai, Average White Band, Stevie Wonder, and Kool & the Gang, the band writes, arranges and records their own songs. Their first album in September 2009 topped the "Chia Chia Record Billboard (Taiwan)" in its first week, and also reached Top 4 on the "G-Music Billboard (Taiwan)", and Top 5 on the "5- Music (Taiwan)". They have also performed with popular bands Tizzy Bac and Won-Fu.
