Celebrating Five Formidable Years Of Artistic Dare Described as a dance company ‘at the top of its game’, The Human Expression Dance Company (T.H.E), along with our semi-professional training arm, T.H.E Second Company, are names synonymous with ground breaking contemporary dance. In five years, T.H.E has become a household name in the local and regional arts scene having performed at all major local arts festivals and in prestigious international festivals such as the Les Hivernales festival (2012) in Avignon, France.

Driven by a desire to provide an inclusive and nurturing platform for local and regional dance artists, we initiated the very first annual contemporary dance festival CONTACT in 2010. With our unique brand of highly physical and kinetic works, T.H.E digs deep into the human experience, highlighting the minute details of life that often go unnoticed in our contemporary environment.
