TRADING STORIES

This exhibition features the six individuals who have made their livelihoods in Singapore's traditional trades, some of which are in their sunset days. Come and hear the personal stories of a traditional Indian goldsmith, a movie poster painter, a tukang urut (Malay confinement lady), a Sumsui woman. a poultry farmer and a letter writer. Their intriguing stories offer a window into the past and an intimate look at professions that have transformed our urban and cultural landscape.
