Participants will be introduced to master portraits from the House of Liechtenstein exhibition. Using a range of drawing pencils, they will render a copy of a painting complete with nuances in light and dark tones. An open discussion will follow on anatomy and artistic portrayals of the human form.

About the artist Born in Singapore in 1974 to a Japanese mother and Peranakan father, Namiko Chan Takahashi has been making art since she was five. She is now a professional multi-disciplinary artist and educator. Namiko trained at the Art Students League of New York. Shortly after returning to Singapore, she won the 25th UOB Painting of the Year Competition. She is an elected member of the International Realism Guild. Namiko has had four solo exhibitions and her work is collected internationally.
