Description
Find relief from the bustle of modern life in this performance blending ancient sounds with contemporary theatrical elements, evoking narratives of affection, restlessness and impermanence. A fresh take on nanyin music is created through a dialogue between the past and the present.
Encounter fragments of love in transit between city dwellers perpetually racing on the unrelenting road of progress where life, is a constant battle between ambition and attachment, and only in brief moments of respite do our memories catch up with our footsteps.
Featuring nanyin musicians and singers from Singapore and China, including Cai Yu Jun, performing special rearrangements of classic nanyin pieces in this novel approach to the art form.

湘灵音乐社的《望远行》，以古老的南音音乐结合戏剧元素，呈献现代场景中望远与眷恋的角力，以在车站里、在地铁列车上、在行进中的一个个爱恋故事，拼贴都市人在地理及时间中迁移的心理图景。千年传承的南音音乐也经受相应的迁移，在古典与现代的对话中展现新姿。
