Description
Rahul Sharma, an accomplished santoor player, is a new-generation classical artiste, in tune with tradition and modernity. An Indian classical musician of the Hindustani classical music genre, he plays the 100- stringed instrument, the santoor. He learnt music and the santoor from his illustrious father and Guru Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, who is a music legend in India and the world over. With over 50 released albums spanning a career of 15 years, Rahul Sharma has carved a niche for himself not only in the world of Indian classical music but in world fusion music as well. Rahul has collaborated with renowned international musicians including French pianist Richard Clayderman, on the album called "Confluence", and world renowned saxophonist Kenny G on the album called "Namaste".
