SWAGGOUT 4′s INTERNATIONAL INSTRUCTORS

Koharu Sugawara is one of the top dancer/choreographer in the Hip Hop dance community worldwide. Originally from Japan, she has worked with a lot of big Japanese and Asian artists such as Namie Amuro, X Japan, Vanness and Endo Generation. Recently, her focus has been on making a bigger impact in the global scene, which has proven to be very successful – teaching at Movement Lifestyle studio in LA and performing with top choreographers such as Shaun Evaristo’s 2011 Carnival piece along side with amazing dancers like Lyle Beniga, Johnny Erasme and many more.

Christopher Martin, originally from Boulder, Colorado, started out as a B-Boy, his training in foundation and breaking inspired him to enter the choreography circuit at the age of 14. He has leadership experience in the dance community directing BreakEFX (MTV’s ABDC ) 2004-2011, as well as teaching at the Vibe in Norway from 2009-2010. Currently, Chris is a dancer for San Diego’s world renowned dance team, Choreo Cookies. Chris’s biggest goal in life is to hopefully one day combine his passion for dance and is degree in Business Management into something he loves. He believes that every experience learned is another one to be gained.

Suleman Malik, leader of Quick Crew, a Norwegian dance crew based in Oslo. Quick was formed in 2007 and in few years, have managed to become one of the most successful dance crews in Europe.They have several National, European and World Championship titles, and were also the winners of the popular TV show Norway’s Got Talent in 2009. In 2010 he won his second gold medal at the Hip Hop World Championships with Quick crew. Quick is constant on tour with their impressive dance shows and Hip Hop workshops around the country and now also abroad. Quick opened their own dance studio called QuickStyle Studio in 2010, and are also one of the few non-singing artists to sign a contract with a major company like Sony Music.

Jillian Meyers grew up dancing in Portland Oregon. There she trained in all styles of dance with teachers Erin Lee, Michelle Mckinney, Candalee Wrede, Diana Redding and Sarah Riggles. In 2004 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her aspiration of becoming a professional dancer. She has been an assistant to Brian Friedman, Mia Michaels, Wade Robson and Mandy Moore on the hit show, “So You Think You Can Dance.” Since 2006 she was been fortunate to be a lead dancer for performing artist Janet Jackson and has been involved with Janet’s videos, performances, “Rock Withchu Tour” and a variety of television appearances. She has had the privilege to perform alongside Wade Robson and with recording artist John Legend in their performance for the show, “Dancing With the Stars. Ultimately, Jillian loves to dance and is excited by any experience related to her passion!
