Players Theatre is thrilled to be bringing Roald Dahl’s Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs to the stage. Based on Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes, these two classic tales are put together into one "Big Bad" musical of a show. Roald Dahl's imaginative re-telling features music based on the orchestral commissions by the Roald Dahl Foundation.
In a world where Mr. Wolf just can’t win, you can be sure there's a wicked twist that will tickle and titillate. Mr. Wolf thinks he's a match for Little Red Riding Hood and her three little piggie pals. He snatches a lead on her and gobbles up Grandma - but his hair raising antics will cost him his skin. And it's sweet Little Red Riding Hood herself who has the ace up her sleeve.
In The Three Little Pigs, Piggy No. 3 is in a tight corner - Wolf has gobbled up his neighbours and now he's hammering at the door with a stick of dynamite in hand. Who can Piggy call for help? Sweet Miss Riding Hood, of course - the fearless wolf-slayer. But how is he to know that she fancies a pigskin handbag to go with her wolfskin coat?!
