If so, you will be thrilled to hear about our lip balm, lip gloss and solid perfume workshop where you get to create your own body care products from scratch. Best for friends who want to have control over what goes into each skin care product.

Balm Kitchen will be sharing tips and secrets to creating your own skin care range from scratch.

Under the guidance of the Balm Kitchen instructor, each participant will be able to create and bring home - a lip balm - a lip gloss - a solid perfume

The course covers an introduction to - how skin works - how are ingredients penetrated into our skin - how to select ingredients for product formulation - how to formulate products

There will also be coverage on basic theory on skin care, including - skin anatomy - carrier oils and butters - essential oils - antioxidants

The instructor will demonstrate how the following items will be made, followed by a hands-on session for each product guided by the instructor: - lip balm - lip gloss - solid perfume

The formula for each product will be given to each participant. Participants will get to bring home a set of oils and butter to bring home and be able to practice how to formulate more products themselves at home.

Recommended for beginners.

All materials will be provided. We will provide refreshments during the break; refreshments and summer beverage is included in course fee.
