Epilogue Café (Ion Orchard)

The place was nice and comfortable. However, it was on the noisy side. It was spacious though and had a friendly vibe to it. Despite having quite a few customers when I was there, the service was good as we didn’t have to wait very long for the food to come. The layout of the place was modern and also had its own quirks. There were books “skewered” onto the ceiling with lights attached to some of them. It gave the whole place a fun feeling and really emphasised that it was a bookstore as well. The presentation of the food was good especially the dessert. The drinks were in a miniature jug which brings me back to the slight quirkiness of the place. It made everything seem quaint.

The minced meat from the beef meatballs was not very stuck together. It was rather loose and gave the melt in your mouth feeling. The taste was not to overpowering. It was paired with herb and tomato sauce. However, I felt that there was too little sauce. It ...
