Asian Civilisations Museum

On Sunday, I visited the ACM with my wife to view the Kangxi Emperor special exhibition. We were there in the late afternoon. There was a fairly big crowd in the ACM. We joined a english-speaking guided tour. The museum offers both english and chinese speaking guides.
I was very impressed with the special exhibits of the Kangxi Emperor even though there were only about 20 odd artifacts. The variety of artifacts was however sufficient to have a glimpse of what could be in store in the National Palace museum in Beijing.
The exhibits on show serve to illustrate the life of the emperor. There were documents, scrolls, robes, armour, bow and arrows and several gifts from foreign emissaries. The items were displayed were pleasing and the explanations were adequate. My wife felt that there should be more chinese translations on all the exhibits.
