I went to eat at Sushi Jiro's for the first time in 3 years with my Japanese friend, and I could not believe how bad the quality of all fish were on a Omakase we ordered. The clam was wet and without taste, white fish was dry and without taste, tuna was almost still frozen, and the worst was the ikura/salmon roe which my friend had to go straight to the bathroom to throw out of the mouth as it was clearly too old and the color was almost turning white from being in the fridge for too long. The worst of it was that the amount we paid for two persons (without any alcohol) came out to S$180! Not only is the place bad ... but a rip off. Stay away! [Read more] |
