Had Double Chocolate Frappe at McCafe after work tongue It was my first time trying out this. I was being told by my friend that the double chocolate must shake it before drinking so as it could blend the whipped cream with the chocolate.
My first thought was "eeww... whipped cream with chocolate "
But after trying the first mouth, it was fabulous ! It totally shocked me. The chocolate wasn't as sweet as i expected it to be. Also, the whipped cream just simply blend in so well that it was my first time not regretting having whipped cream on the chocolate. Usually, many people would have the thought that chocolate will be very sweet.. plus it is name DOUBLE CHOCOLATE ! To me, it was semi sweet. But i would still say, different people different taste :D
I will make sure i will get it a second round and i would be sure that the whipped cream is there :D
Beside the floss bread which was highly recommended by Bread Talk, i also strongly recommend you to all bread lovers to try this raisins cheese bun !
To all CHEESE LOVER ! Inside this raisin cheese bun, it contains lots of cheese filling that makes you feel full and contented.
As the cheese itself tastes salty together with the sweetness of the raisins, the combination matches really well and it makes the whole bread tastes really delicious ! I will be back to patronize Bread Talk to taste the different types of breads that they offer. Because i am a bread lover :D
After movie, went to shokudo for dinner.This is the mini dessert they serve for ordering a value meal. Don't get cheated by the look as it actually tastes quite weird mad
As I ordered the value meal, i find the price is just alright but definitely not for ala carte meal.
I wasn't able to snap the main course because by the time the food were served. My friends and were too hungry and we were rushing to finish up the food to fill up our empty stomach. Overall, the food taste not bad smile will probably re visit the place but not for the dessert. :D
Went to Straits Cafe for a gathering with old friends.
We had the buffet which cost each of us around $30 plus . i like the salmon which tastes fresh and also goes well with the wasabi :D another recommended dish is their dessert. Mango plus the strawberry ^^ tastes yummy....
One set is definitely not enough for me hence i have to order another one to make me feel contented. The salmon that was being served is not oily just nice with a bit of noodle and sauce. Overall, the service of the staffs were not bad, food is good, and i definitely go back once more.
Bought hup lee bee hoon during lunch (: As the stall are being recommended by the residents staying at nearby area. Hence, I decided to give it a try. To my surprised, their bee hoon was awesome ! Heir bee hoon was soft and not too dry. Usually, I will get those dry and hard to swallow down kind and dry.bee hoon at other hawker centre. however, hup lee bee hoon was different! The cabbage was juicy and crunchy tongue. What's more is that it cost only $2.20 ! Hence, i would recommend bee hoon lovers to try out hup lee bee hoon at Yishun near Chong Pang
