Excellent pork knuckles and sausage platter is a delight even for non-sausage lovers. Cup cakes appeal to the young and young at heart. Only thing that I can fault them is the cramped air coned space and dingy toilet.
Perhaps when they've made more money, they can expand the air coned space and put in a decent toilet.
This place used to be good. But my last 2 trips there ended up leaving me less than satisfied. The food was lukewarm and it's hard to get a table.
Not very child friendly, they sat us right next to the toilet entrace with a baby chair, which meant almost having the baby chair toppling over every time someone goes to the toilet and kicking the baby chair.
Decor is very dated. Service is not with a smile but I guess the important thing is the food must be good.
Comparing it to E-Sarn in 6th Avenue, it's a far cry.
The ambience is OK, like most Sunset Way eateries, the place prides itself on alfresco (which is not that hot an idea in sunny Singapore).
Ordered the fried fish, not meaty at all. Also had the green curry and tom yam kung. Average.
The inside tables are not air conned but the fan is sufficient.
Child friendly seating but menu is limited for adult and more so for children. Desert is disappointing, though.
