Okayy, okayy, so, Godiva is a super-duper UBER famous name in the world of chocolate.

    Well, SO WHAT?

The stuff is way overcharged (cmon, its not like Kristen Stewart licked it or something!) and tastes ordinary (by that I mean, it tastes like something I can get for half (or a third) of that price!

Anyway, the staff at the Ngee Ann City outlet are at least, well-mannered. That's quite a relief.

    However, the price? It's deadddllly...

I'm not really that big a scrooge, but sometimes one should opt for something cheaper but as good when the price difference is massive.

I mean, it's just chocolate! If it were a handbag or phone, maybe I could understand if you bought a $4000 bag that looks like a $800 bag, but not for chcolate. Sorry.

This restaurant chain is a pretty high-class one, so it kinda disappoints me when one of its many many outlets like the Holland Village one fails to impress. SIGH.

For one, it's not too cheap at all. Aside from the bakery, it's quite expensive, actually. The food is not bad, I must say, but the ambience is disgusting. Unlike the many restaurants and cafes in the area, this one is sooo noisy it sounds like a hawker centre. And it's dirty and smelly too. Besides that, the staff there aren't that pleasant too.

I have to admit, though, the bread sold there is very nice. I especially like the chocolate covered muffin decorated with butterflies, cars, etc. Super cute, super yummy. And worth the price ($1.20 OR $1.30 or something like that)....

The service may not be staisfactory, but I guess the food is. If you do not mind the noise and the smell, then I guess this place will suit you just fine.

I have heard alot about this place, man. Like from my aunites and uncles, for example. This place is really good for a "family bonding" session. HAHAHA.
For the price, it’s really so-so as it is not too bad (price) and not too good or bad (food taste and quality. I especially like the desserts there. They rock my socks. LOL. Its really nice to know that a place like this offers affordable fare at a reasonable price

One thing I don't quite like is that the soup is wayyyy dilute. It pales in comparison to the quality of the desserts sold there. Quite a pity, right??

The best thing about this place is probably the "NO GST" factor.... Stingy people like me, or scrooges would wanna come here to dine on hearding this extremely good piece of news...

Cosy place, affordable food. Not bad at all.

Subway food is awesome. Or, that's what I heard from other friends, etc of course. Anyway, the cookies there are great, anyway... :D

Although I quite like Subway, I think this outlet is just wayyyy too small for anybody.

          SIGH.

The place also needs to consider it's decor. It should up its "cafe-ish" style.... Like Venezia, Coffee Bean, etc, etc. That way, it will attract more students (especially Secondary School students who are studying or shopping in the area)

Subway, as a world-renown company, should really consider the outlook of most of it's outlets....

I love the Old-fashioned decor and packaging of the cookies sold here, at the good ol' cookie museum.
What I don’t really like about it is the fact, that the products are soooo expensive... I really hope they improve on this. That way they can attract more customers and therefore, business will take a turn for the better.

It's really nice to study at, but for people like me, who don't really enjoy those English-sort of cookies with "UNIQUE" (ahem, ahem) ingredients, then you might as well go to Marx/Max Brenner Chocolate cafe. So much Chocolate! (try the Sukcao there)

I think this place will be the best for people who like trying new things, new flavours, new origins. But while you really want to try some yummy food there, be prepared to fork out alot of $$$$
