O’Brien’s Irish Sandwich Bar (Jelita SC)

I have been visiting this cafe almost twice weekly for the past six months and am keen to register my views.
I have tasted awesome sandwiches at other branches in town but those ordered here tend to lack generosity. The apple crumble is actually quite good. Unfortunately, they do not seem to know how to warm it up on request. Even after several attempts to make known the fact that I want a warm apple crumble, the dessert always arrived only slightly warm on the outside and cold on the inside.
Staff in general do not serve with a smile or cheerful disposition. Very so often, they look jaded with nonchalance.
I remember the first time in the cafe. I ordered a sandwich to eat and another to go. The one that was served on a plate came with chips while the one to go has no chips. Both cost the same. I asked if they could drop a few chips together with the takeaway and I was told in a stoned-faced manner that it was not possible because chips are only served with dined-in sand...   [Read more]
