My friend and I stayed at the Sivalai Place for three nights before flying back to Hongkong from Bangkok.
It's a great choice. We booked a Studio Room which was spacious and comfortable with balcony, LCD TV, and kitchenette area. The breakfast at the cafe' was so lovely with friendly smiles. The staff was also happy to pre-book a taxi to the airport for us and helped us organize the sightseeing tour in Bangkok. We enjoyed the gym, big swimming pool and tennis courts. The location is pretty far from Silom and MBK but it is quiet and peace, from Sivalai Place is just about 15 mins drive to skytrain and just 15 mins drive to Khaosan road. I think if you want a quiet, reliable, base in the Old City of Bangkok (Thonburi) then it would be hard to be disappointed by the Sivalai Place. |
