After reading the above two articles, I suddenly recalled one of my classmates told me that he signed an advertisement contract sent to him by post. He is now slapped with a charge of S$8,500 for a two years advertisement contract. He did not read the small and fine print in between the wording that a fee of S$4,250 yearly contract. He was very upset when he tried to reason with the so called business advertisement company that doesn't allowed him to cancel the signed contract. In the end, a lawyer was engaged to defend and void the signed contract, but the outcome of the case is still not settled.
I am puzzled that Singapore allows the company to operate and con our business community. I hope the authority can prevent it from operating in our country and tarnish our republic and business partners.

The optical outlet is small, but the size can be deceiving, you not only can get your eyes tested, they can even complete a pair of spectacles in ten to twenty minutes which some bigger outlets can't even provide this type of service.
It's amazing a small outlet can provide such fast service and they even warranty their plastic multi-coated lenses for one year with free replacement and worksmanship.
It is situated inside the hawker centre, while you dine your favourite food, they will process your spectacles and you collect your spectacles after you finished your meal, no time wasted at all.
The prices are very reasonable with no extra charges for express services and they are too willing to provide the express service so that you don't have to make the second trip to collect your spectacles on another day unless the lenses you ordered are not available in their inventory.
The tester is a qualified optometrist from Singapore Polytechnic and the outlet has a licence from Health Science Authority to provide and prescribe normal and coloured contact lenses.
Sometimes they even provide delivery when the customers are unable to collect their spectacles or contact lenses.
