The shop name is a misnomer. Although called Bonia, it no longer sell Bonia leather goods, only Carol Rino- a subsidary of Bonia.
They used to sell both Bonia and Carol Rino leather goods- bags and purses. And I bought a Bonia bag from here before. The salesgirl was patient and allowed me to try on different bags.
The quality of Bonia bags are durable and becoming more stylish. In a bid to attract younger consumers, they have used Joanne Peh and Michelle Chia as their spokeperson. While their image is improving, some of the design are still more suitable for middle-aged and elderly women. But not all.
The quality of its leather is excellent as it still look new even after several years of use, provided you take care of it.
