Cold Storage (West Coast Plaza)

This cold storage offers lots of conveniences for me. As compared to the other supermarket around this neighborhood which has only one sheng shiong, I would very much prefer to shop here for all the premium stuffs I would love to avail to my family.

1. They have a great selection of cereals with the very healthy muesli and oats with fruit and nuts kinds. Mostly imported, a good and healthy breakfast cereal is more than just wheat or sugar... here in cold storage they provide a good range of healthy wheat and oat kinda cereals as well as wheatbits. Its 'Ang Mo Jiak' I know.. though some may prefer porridge or a sandwich, I like my breakfast quick and filling....

2. You must check out their OILs...... Yes... oil is a must in any cuisine while oilfree cooking or preparation can't seem to slide down my throat, so since we must have oil... why not choose something healthy. The selection neatly stacked on the shelfs are from all over the world and have many different types to choose from. From the super healthy cold pressed extra virgin to the extra uncommon Avocado Oil.. you can find a whole great selection of different oils with its many flavors. For variety and price worthy.. its a 5 stars for that.

3. The alcohol section carries a good range of premium wines from the common sauvignon blanc to the rare gewurztraminer, I can mostly find what I want for common friends and friends with a wickedly crude tongue... The price i must say is pretty reasonable and if you are throwing a party and need some presentable wine glass yet you do not have space to keep so many wine glasses, in the same section, you can also find plastic wine glasses which looked like real but disposable. Though not very environmentally friendly, it is extremely convenient and love the fact they placed it in this section, so easy to find...

4. The frozen section though do not offer much items we asian like, I do appreciate the free ice to keep my frozen stuffs fresh especially ICE CREAM....

Store is neatly packed and stocked with good shelf life items. Love the quick sale concept for about to expire stuffs.. Service is okay... I mean as long as the cashier don't get too chatty.. its fine :)
