5 Reviews for “Golden Village (Jurong Point)” - Arts and Entertainment
$72 for a pair of movie ticket in a luxurious seat for 2 hours... do you think worth it??it all depends on the movie and the person next to you...
just watch Sherlocks Holmes in GV Gold Class @ Vivocity with someone special..
we feel very high class and the environment damn luxurious also the service staff serve u differently.. feeling like you are their super super VIP...but...
for me, it's worth it only during special occasion like Valentine's Day, Birthday, Anniversary or etc...
once a while is ok... if everytime go movie also Gold Class, must well save the money for travel....
Recommended for medium working class people like me... to go once a month or 2month with a very good movie..

Been there to watch movies a few times in the past. There doesn't seem to be much changes since the revamp and the seats are quite comfortable. However, being stepped on despite keeping my feet to myself wasn't what I would expect.
There are times when someone sits in front that I still see some head bump during the movie screening. That is when the person is taller than the average height. I'm too embarrassed to get a child boost seat. It would have been a great idea when such tall people buy the last rows.
It would be good to provide more nacho chips as they don't seem to be enough to finish the cheese. I just find that the tickets are getting too expensive to be able to enjoy on a weekly basis. I feel as if I'm back in school struggling to save up for a "luxury" treat even when I'm working.

This cinema is very nostalgic. Use to go here almost for every movie with my friends. Since after i "moved" school, i seldom went here already. Anyway, this place used to be super cosy. The seats are nice and there is ample leg space.
There was once i went to watch a made in singapore movie. I forgot the title, but it is a love show starred by Wong Li Lin. It was a super nice and touching show, and this cinema really added to the show's ambience. Nice aircon and nice seats, with a cup of nice coke and with nice friends. How i wish life can be that wonderful always.
In short, the cinema is really worth going. Maybe after the revamp of Jurong Point, the cinema got better as they revamped also, but since i have not went there after the revamp to watch shows, maybe i shall wait till my next secondary school gathering. All in all, bring your loved ones along! they will like it.

Golden Village is all about luxary, ambience, comfort. I am staying at jurong east and i am a regular visitor of golden village. This theatre is the best i have visited. Truely magnificent is the first word which comes to my mind. I cannot think of going anywhere else to watch the movie.
Courtsey showed by the service man around was amazing. The movie selection is too good. Crowd is well managed. Location is also too good. We get lot of time to shop around. Pop Corns and cold drinks are also at reasonable rates.Altogether i find golden village the best place to watch a movie.

Went there to watch a show sometime last year. Found the seats to be a bit cramped. Still find those 30 mins commercials a bit annoying though. The aircon were a bit too cold. I had a jacket on and still I was shivering! The popcorn and drinks were simply getting too expensive.
